Two Ukrainian servicemen 23 and 36 years old died in stabbing attack in Germany. Both have been underwenting rehabilitation course there after wounding. The murderer - 57 years old Russian was detained.
Germany still a country with most large pro-Russian community, consisting of migrants of several waves - from late Soviet Union to modern Russia. There are many conflicts between them and Ukrainain refugees. Russian community regularly conducts actions in support of Russian agression, demonstratively celebrating Russian  holidays. It's weird, when citizens lives in the country, enjoy all benefits, but hate it and wish to see Russian tanks here.   

There is a somewhat large risk of further breakthroughs in the Avdiivka direction from recent days and the "fortifications" are miles behind the current frontline, while russia was sitting in a tunnel/trench network that made any exploitation impossible. 
Had the first line been breached there would've been 3 more hurdles before just touching Tokmak.
The line south of Ocheretyne and Soloviove will likely be abandoned if the current advances north of it continue and cant be stopped with new US aid. As of today it appears in the rumor mill that the russians are successfull there. 
It may be a 7km wide frontline withdrawl by ~6kms, what that does to the whole of the front I dont know but it surely isnt an improvement and may cause issues nearby

I mean, really Canada has already basically withdrawn from NATO hasn't it?  Can you be considered a serious NATO member when your government says that not only will they not spend 2% on defense but they will never spend 2%.
 

Come on, Obama's policy vs Russia was disastrous. It's hard not to see the harebrained "reset", setting various "red lines", e.g. use of gas in Syria which have come and passed ineffectually, the 2014 invasion and finally open warfare by Russian army as steps which inexorably followed from one another because of lack of any meaningful US response at the previous step. Talking hard and then not producing any stick whatsoever, big or otherwise, suggests that either the stick is so rotten that it will fall to pieces or the wrists are too limp to wield it.

To be fair, you are correct, for sure landmarks are a way to go etc. My point is its not a solved problem yet and how well it works will govern how people ultimately feel about it. Both those in the armed forces - who's opinion counts and those in the civilian population - who's opinion counts in a different way.

Supposedly this one didnt hit the factory but a building (dormitory) infront of it, but there was another explosion, maybe that one hit the production facility 
 
Maybe instead of scrapping A-10s, they should be converted to well armored drones?😄 This plane survived 8 hours in russian airspace
