  1. I can provide a dropbox link to anyone interested. Send me a pm. I am working on getting all my campaigns on CMODS
  2. I am working on a way to post all my stuff to that site. waiting to hear back from Booty.
  3. I must of made a clicky error. Try this link to the actual .cam file lol. https://www.dropbox.com/s/jbm6nm8ekz3a3f6/Fields of Tears.cam?dl=0 Place in the campaign folder. Let me know of any issues. I will correct the error in my dropbox when I get time.
  4. CMFB Campaign: Fields of Tears Fields of Tears is a interactive CMFB Campaign that picks up where my CMBN Campaign: In the Fields Where the Poppies Grow leaves off and follows the actions of Captain Charles Stevens and A Company, 31st Tank Battalion, 7th Armored Division, around St. Vith, Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge. It requires the latest version of CMFB and all immersion mods needed are in the download. They are tagged to this campaign only. It is playable from the Blue Side only. The campaign is a story driven campaign like "Poppies" where you must keep Stevens and other important personnel alive and still complete the mission objectives to advance in the campaign. The storyline is in the Designer Notes for each mission. The campaign begins with a mission in Germany and then continues after the Germans launch their Ardennes offensive Unternehmen Wacht am Rhein. Elements of the 7th Armored Division, the 31st Tank Battalion, including Captain Stevens and A Company are sent to the St. Vith area where they are to make contact and destroy the enemy forces advancing on the town. The campaign is based loosely on historical facts. Core Units: A Co HQ: Capt. C. Stevens (Snake Eye) (CO) 1st Lt. P. Jarrett (Hammer) 2nd Lt. R. Vanicor (Dancer) 1st Platoon: WO C. Carlisle (Cowboy) SSgt B. Hash (Machine) Sgt. E. Edmond (Easy) Sgt. M. Newby (Dinosaur) Sgt. J. Smith (Cleaner) 2nd Platoon: WO J. Courville (Pappy) SSgt. R. Davis (Uptight) Sgt. B. Tuck (Preacher) Sgt. K. Hooper (Jester) Sgt. D. Gray ( Slick) 3rd Platoon: WO J. Royce (Southpaw) SSgt. C. Honeycutt (Cool Hand) Sgt. W. Morris (Hook) Sgt. S. Gappa (Cruiser) Sgt. D. Burlyson (Joker) B Company: 3x Platoons 31st Tank Battalion HQ: Lt. Col. R. Erlenbusch Maj. W. Beatty 1st Lt. Minvielle CCB 7th Armored Division: Brig. General B. Antons Bridge ( Allied Attack) 2. First Contact (Meeting Engagement) 3. Holding the Line (Axis Attack) 4. Something Wicked This Way Comes (Allied Probe) 5. Counterattack at Hunnigen (Allied Attack) 6. The II SS Panzer Corps Strikes (Axis Attack) Maps: The first battle, Antons Bridge, is an original map by me. The other maps in the campaign are from the excellent master maps that came with the game. I reworked them extensively to achieve the immersion I was after for the campaign. Mods: (All credit goes to the authors of the mods) US and German Snowy Uniforms and Gear by Ithikial. King Tiger Mod by PzPJ American Sherman Pack and Gear by Aris Snowy US Vehicles by Umlaut Mords US Portraits by Mord (modified by me with the unit insignias used in the campaign.) Various winter fortifications from the Winter Mod by the Winter Mod Team Assorted damaged vehicle textures by me Special Note: I used Worghern Blitzkrieg Environment : CMFB 2.0 while designing the campaign which is not included in the download. I highly recommend adding this as the campaign was designed and modified using these textures as well as the Winter Mod for CMFB which will work seamlessly with Worgherns mod.. While it can be played without these I highly recommend using them as the tags in the campaign will pick them up. Here is the link to download Worghern Blitzkrieg Environment : CMFB. http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=3984 Here is the link to download Kohlenklau’s Winter Mod for Final Blitzkrieg. http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=3991& Also Umlauts Snowy German Vehicle mods are not included but highly recommended. Once again to follow the storyline read the Designers Notes. I hope it proves to be enjoyable. 5. So anyone played this thing and if so any thoughts...good, bad or ugly.
  6. Hi Bootie

Been pondering a way to upload my campaigns to your site and still retain the mods I have attached to each one for download convience. However since this creates quite large file sizes I understand the problem.

I may have a solution. What if I list the campaigns on your site as usual with all the needed information but you can use the link directly to my dropbox. This enables the player to download everything needed without going to external downloads plus elimnates using your dedicated servers space up?

I would like to list all of them on your site so playes can get better exposure to them. If this seems like a decent solution let me know and Ill get registered up and began the process.

Another idea would be to link the mods through to the CMMODS website if they are already there?

Thats true but sometime I adjust the mods to suit the campaign and include them in a seperate mod so to speak. Then they are tagged as such. There are a few exceptions such as the Stalingrad mod or Umlauts mod that are very large in themselves, then I just offer the direct links to CMMODS for them. But I would like to list them on the site as some of the earlier mods are lost in the forum topics.

  7. Great screenshots Heinrich505 and story as always. As Mord noted it does convey a rather chilly feeling.
  8. Im not sure Swant. Just give it a try and see if it throws an error message.
  9. All feed back is welcome guys. I understand Erwins point about Mission 4. I actually considered downsizing it before I released the campaign but I had put alot of work into the map plus I was sticking to as much realisim as possible. Alot of the actual combat in Afghanistan Im sure was repetitive, at least from the accounts I have read. Go check that village out for signs of taliban, or patrol that roadway to keep it clear for convoys etc etc. And yes the Red Occupy bug sucks lol. But I can see from a "gaming stand point" it gets boring so the suggestions are duly noted. Michael
  10. I havent decompiled them but may in the future when time allows. Dont know if that program that splits the campaign will work in CMSF but you are welcome to try.
  11. Hey sorry it took so long to respond, been busy with RL. The Afghan forces in the campaign were a mod by Blimey I believe that changes the Syrian irregulars to Afghan forces. I think they use the Syrian weapons in the campaign and not NATO, which is more realistic in the time frame that the campaign takes place. Michael
  12. Thanks Bootie. Let me see what I can do when I get time. Ill have to set myself up on your site but that sounds like a workable solution. Since most of my campaigns are mod heavy I may try and do the same thing with those to get them listed on your site.
  13. As mentioned above its a big file, probably not within the depots limits on file size. Thanks Sgt. Hope it proves enjoyable.
  14. https://www.dropbox.com/s/02ju1ce0itcv4lh/The Last Panzer.zip?dl=0 Copy the mod folder to your Z folder and disregard the .cam file. Use this .cam file into your campaign folder. https://www.dropbox.com/s/u5hjzdh5o1cwmn4/The Last Panzer.cam?dl=0 You should be good to go. All mods are tagged to this campaign however if you have the Stalingrad mod installed there may be some building texture conflicts in the later battles. Best to move the Stalingrad mod out until you finish. Hope you enjoy. Michael
  15. They are the same I just bundled them with the new version of the .cam file.
  16. Here is the updated campaign file for this campaign. It corrects the following: 1. Took out the on board mortars in the first mission Hill 218 due targeting issues. The FO's and HQ's should be able to connect with the off board mortars and artillery without out of contact issues. 2. Some minior AI adjustments in the last mission, mainly some enemy setup adjustments. None of these changes are game breaking issues so if you want to continue with the orginal .cam hopefully all will be good. I have not heard much feedback so not sure of any other issues. Here is the link to the new .cam and mod folder combo. https://www.dropbox.com/s/35pmpdai77pkdc1/Zitadelle.zip?dl=0 Michael
  17. I have not made them available as seperate scenarios yet. Not sure why Scan didnt unpack though unless its a 4.0 version thing.
  18. Getting ready to update the above issue with the mortars in mission 1 so is there any other issues that anyone has come across so I can get resolved and I will post a new .cam file? Michael
  19. Thanks grunt_GI for the kind comments. Yea I know they can be a pain in the "butt" to get through sometime. But in the end I hope it feels like a rewarding experience to complete.
  20. Many thanks for all your work across the various titles...Brilliant ! Thanks for the kind comments. Im just glad to provide more content for us to have fun with.
  21. Congrats Borg and a very nice screen shot. I guess I did a half decent job of creating a Afghany atmosphere I suppose. Michael
  22. Sounds like a solid plan Erwin. I hope you can pull this one off, sounds like others have struggled with this one. In this case the PIR is flown deep into the Gorak Valley so you are out of range of arty but have air assets.
  23. Thats called Allahs way of protecting his flanks. I try to look at defensive setups when I do them as if I am the defending force, and set my defense based on where I think a threat might come from, in this case your sneaky little recon around the flank was exactly what my tali commander assumed you might try....
