  1. Several of my teachers actually worked on that game, and became teachers because of it. their general impression was that the art department was being run by idiots and most of their time was spent on "future projects" that ate up funds, their assessment (note they were junior artists not accountants, so take this with a grain of salt) was that the budget was so big because these "future projects" were taking up too much money. (also note this was the BIG HUGE end of the deal, not the 38 studios end)
  2. really? ah i guess its a case of build date and deployment dates, hmmm oh well in the interest of not getting too off topic never mind then. (your video AARs are great by the way.)
  3. Really? neat. so what are the chances of having a Vehicle Pack 2: electric boogaloo. filled with hypotheitical and "fictional" equpiment like the m6 heavy, Ram and Skink? along with real stuff like the Wasp?
  4. there needs be a scenario called "Sikh and Destroy" puns, all the puns
  5. and its baby brother the SU-85M, gah, now i want to play red thunder again.
  6. ironically the schwimmwagen was not. =p nice signs though, but makes me wish for some flavor objects to go with em, abandoned camp supplies, air drop crates, excetera.
  7. oh yeah, hehe i almost forgot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLZUKqpXYzU
  8. thats amazing, does it move like an normal CSW or is it going to be immovable like the 50cals?
  9. Brazilians? that might bulk out the pack a bit. :D
  10. That's a really Sikh preview Chris! Also!
  11. Excellent (nothing cheeky planned at all)
  12. the Semovente 90/53 is criminally low on Ammo however, and that's mainly because the companion tender hasn't been modeled. and that wasn't modeled i assume because vehicle ammo sharing was never quite finished.
  13. yeah you pretty much have the right idea on the Brixta, i personally use to for suppression, the bombs it fires are basically low power hand grenades so its not that effective by its self at clearing an area, but is a useful replacement for the Italians poor excuses for machine guns (really a clip fed machinegun?)
  14. The Brazilians in my book are a must, the forgotten ally on the forgotten front.
  15. So armored infantry do not have a BAR, but the BAR is kinda useless anyways, most of your firepower will come from your Garands in a normal US infantry Platoon, so i dont see it's lack being an issue, and as far as the 37mm and 57mm anti tank guns in the company, historically these were often "forgotten" and their crews became an extra rifle section, Combat Mission does not have this unofficial adjustment, but you could always abandon the guns, sadly the crews only have M1 carbines, which are lacking.
  16. I more so wonder what battlefront will do about the child soldiers then, are they going to tip toe around that (which i'd be ok with, its a really uncomfortable thing to portray) or actually have them in the final month or so of the war?
  17. Actual paper, drawing and inking is always faster in meat space. color was done in Photoshop though. Digital is great for broad strokes, not so good at lineworking, so its best used for painting and adding color.
  18. Whoa Whoa, no need for that. Wiggum has not been spamming the rest of forums with his complaints, he's kept it civil and in one thread. he has his own desires and opinions and hes entitled to them. and Wiggum as far as graphics go, Combat mission does the job really well considering the size of Battlefronts team and the super nitch appeal of Combat Mission. could their be a bit more varriety of trees and buildings? yes? would i like their to be a dynamic numbering and camo system for tanks and vehicles? yeah. but with all the vehicles in the current catalog, having 4-5 skins (plus more for white wash variants) for each would be a real drain on time and manpower. so whatever, battlefront is small.
  19. Ugg was gonna put a Girl in a Jumbo for ya, and after many attempts and much ripped paper i said screw it. (scale was just tool large, and mechanical objects are not easy) have this instead.
  20. New star wars movie was written by a potato

  21. oh yeah those were a thing. maybe if we get a vehicle pack #2 for Normandy since there is still a bunch of junk that was kinda floating around that hasn't been modeled like the wasp, or the small contingent of Free French that was around. but eh, not everything is needed, i would very much like to see a m4a1w with HVSS but eh, its not a nessissary thing.
  22. So far from what i gathered: new Burning effects (not spreading fires, just much better looking wrecks) Stream tiles. oh and onboard mortars.... i mean thats a pretty big deal, sure black sea had them, but this is the first ww2 title to have them. well i think its a pretty big deal at least and something i've been looking forwards to for a long time.
