  1. According to news two hours ago - 3rd assault brigade "Azov" had next success in their local (?) counter-offensive. Detalis probably will be tomorrow. Inside Bakhmut, Wagners continue to advance slowly in western part in cottadges quarters. Rest streets without significant changes.
  2. I read recently about this pair, being made a heroes by commies ), but I have knew them only in this year when the name of this village appeared in news )
  3. No. Real Belarusian opposition, able for uprising fights in several Belarusian volunteer units, fighting on Ukraine side: regiment named after Kostus' Kalinovskiy - in Armed Forces of Ukraine special purpose regiment "Pogonia" - part of Foreign Legion (subordianbtion unclear, probably SOF Command/GUR) Belarusian Volunteer Corps (most known unit - battalion "Terror") - in GUR
  4. This village already before war was dead and existed only on paper - it had 3 settlers in 2001. Probably because of that reason its name "forgot" to decommunize. But this his historical name, because it appeared in 20th-30th years of 20th century.
  5. This morning we had Russian missile attack again. 35 cruise missiles were launched (29 Kh-101/555, 6 Kalibr), 33 shot down. About 15 of them were shot down on approaches to Kyiv (two of them likley were interceped inside over the city outskirts, because two loud explosions were heard) Remains of missile shot down in SW part of Kyiv - it has spoiled a strawberry garden bed And this homestead in some village or town near Kyiv was really lucky
  6. He blames units of 72nd motor-rifle brigade of 3rd Army Corps that they abandoned positions. Likely this was in Sako i Vancetti village area, about 14 km north from Bakhmut, where presumably UKR troops had advance 1-2 days ago,
  7. Nope - directly to Zaluzhnyi only ). Nobody of Ukr experts never say about even approx assesments of our forces.
  8. "Dedushka" is obviously Putin. Many in Russia - "liberals" and some disappointed "vatniks" in joke call Putin "ded" ("grandpa") or "bunker ded" Seriously sicking Lukashenko and Putin (or his double) on parade. Classical Soviet schizophrenic gerontocratia.
  9. I posted assesment of Kostianntyn Mashovets abouth month ago. Zaporizhzhia direction is defended by Troops Groupment "East". About 180 km of frontline, two-echelons of defense, about 87 000 of personnel. Their right flank covered by Troops Groupment "Dnepr" (defense along left bank of Dnipro river) - about 70 000 and "Group of Crimea Defense" - about 10500
  10. Situation in Bakhmut. Reportedly Russian troops now regrouped - southern flank near Bakhmut now is MoD responsibility, when the city and close northern flank (Khromove and some north) - zone of PMC Wagner On eve of 9th of May Wagners conducted desperate night assault with heavy artillery support of small part of city , holding by UKR defendrs. But all, what they could achieve, is to seize two quarters. UKR used several HIMARS and arty, striking crossing point area through the river in the center of city. Also UKR troops widely use multiple sinepr pairs of SOF and other units. Usually elimination of two persons is enough to assault group of 10-12 men lost disire to advance for some time. Representative of "Terra" unit told that UKR troops have successful local attack on norhern flank, pushing the enemy on almost 1 km. NOEL claims it can be near Sako i Vancetti village.
  11. This nighr Kyiv was attacked by largest number of Shakeds at a time - 30. There is also number 35 in reports, but this is probably for whole country. All 35 were shot down. I herd loud explosion approx at 2:00 (though Kinzhal interception was much more loud %) ) Fragments of several shot down drones caused small fire in one transport facility and damaged residential building in western part of the city (likely all they came from W/SW). Five civilains were injured. Also 8 Tu-22M3 launched 8 Kh-22 missiles on Odesa oblast. They targeted probable place of personnel, ammo and vehicles concentration, but again hit several empty recreation zones and destroyed Red Cross store facility with humanitarian aid (1 civilian was killed). Some part of missiles hit the empty ground at all.
  12. UKR Striker M1296 Swedish Pvpj 1110 recioless gun in UKR service New-established 38th marines brigade has T-72EA tanks, upgraded in Czechia
  13. Probably recent (March likely) video of UKR Tochka-U launch
  14. I've posted this a day or two ago, with comment of our tank expert Andriy Tarasenko. This assesment in 100 BMP-3 in 2019 is wrong. In 2019 the plant only signed two year contract on 163 vehicles and had time to produce in that year only about 50. But even so, 200-250 vehciles for year is quite alot. Even with less capable Chineese thermals
  15. Bakhmut. Not a cinema war and price of our peaceful life in rear. Somebody wrote in comments this guy was killed later...
  16. Oh, yes, I've seen now. Likely also previous lose, because attacking "Teror" (Belarusian unit) has green tapes. But it's hard to say either this arm (it's looks too wide) or just part of uniform.
  17. These are old losses (M113 and BTR-4), not realted to this battle. Bodies near BTR-4 and in trench also belongs to enemy, they havn't color tapes. This BTR-4 and the same body near it already were seen on other video, where wounded UKR soldier, lying near this BTR was evacuated to the trench. This is a trench, closest to road near Khromove, which continuoulsy change hands, so here already a cemetry of vehciles
  18. Serious deficit of modren ATGMs in Russian army. This document was issued on 29th pf April during conflict between Prigozhyn and Shoigu. This is allegedly amont of ammunition handed over from MoD to PMC Wagner for March-April. I post it without translation, because it's quite obvious It's other Interesting and this was pointed out in comments to this document in TG of some Russian milblogger. There are no ATGMs in this list. And that's why. As told this blogger, Russian army now suffered huge shortage of ATGMs, because they wasted all stocks of new missiles when Russian army encountered with lack of artillery shells and in order to compensate this, usage of ATGMs (including TLGMs) and tank HE shells, using from closed positions increased by a multiple. This led to full exhausting of ATGM stocks, and because own manufacturing can't supply troops in proper amount of missiles, Russian army now forced to use old stocks of old Soviet ATGMs, which have outdated terms and launched successfully 1 from 5-6. In addition, the lack of ATGMs, Russians try to compensate also with Iranian missiles - recently were spotted Iranian thermobaric ATGMs for Iranian copy of "Kornet"
  19. The second Orlan-20 "Cartographer" for three days was shot down. First was downed in Dnipro city area, this on over Kryvyi Rih, also the city of Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Likely Russians try to unveil places of vehicles, AD sites and troops locating, appointed to offensive
  20. So, now officially: Ukrainian air defense for the first time in history successfully intercepted "ininterceptable" Kh-47 "Kinzhal" missile on 4th of May with "Patriot". After a leak in the media and a day of denials and showdowns inside press-service, Air Force Command recognized this fact.
  21. Past night in Bakhmut. Shower of flame.
  22. Ground conditions: ...probably Donbas ... probably Zaporizhzhia oblast
  23. Column of buses from Berdiansk departing to NW areas of Zaporizhzhia oblast for evacuation. (maybe the same video, but I can't see it on Reddit) Presumably evacuation zone range, due to mentions of settlements in the order of collaborationists authorities Most of population reportedly will be evacuated to Berdiansk and Mariupol so now we can't say about DEPORTATION. If civilians is dispaced later to Russia, then - yes. Germans during WWII always evacuated civilians from villages and sometime from towns in frontline zone under pain of death in order to reduce sabotage and don't distract themeselves on civilains. Red army almost didn't do in the same way, so often population, who hadn't time or opportunities to evacuate themselves on their own, suffered heavy losses from warfare. So, in this case such decisions of both Germany then or Russia now allow to avoid risks of harm to civilians. Ukraine government, alas, almost year of war considered that "force evacuation from combat zone" is "not matching to democracy values", and only now this absolutely essential decision, which could save many lives recently, was at last passed Reportedly, Russian occupants often loot houses, from where civilains already were evacuated, in some cases they set on fire houses. There were spotted many military trucks heading to Melitopol direction loaded with looted household appliances
  24. Bakhmut. Thermite ammunition is used on the area holding by UKR troops All this hysteria of Prigizhyn about "withdrawal" is an attempt to blame MoD (Shoigu) for society in next failed deadline - obviously on 9th of May Bakhmut will not be taken completely. By the way - Wagners now on top of fasion in Russia even among many people who were indifferent to this war.
  25. Javelin launch of 59th mot.inf brigade. Russian tank was hit. SW from Avdiivka
