  1. I perfected my gameplay style - this time I nailed this scenario! One really needs to be well rested and has to have a lot of time available for this kind of micromanagement but oh boy it is worth it!
  2. In La Grand Hameau scenario you probably positioned one squad from the 2nd platoon one the wrong side of the bocage by mistake. They come under fire immediately.
  3. I agree and it should have been fixed by now!
  4. Are there any statistics how many point men got hit on the allied side during ww2? It must have been terrible you were the one chosen for the task!?
  5. +1! That would be the most rational way but artists are not made that way.
  6. Apology accepted. ;D It's funny how you serve your age as being the factor in all this. He he.
  7. This rocks dude! Now catch that wave!
  8. Having internal connections to devs you might have some success by sending them a tip for improvement PT!
  9. Edit 2: Sorry for triple posting but I just had to show you how I suck (why is edit post option not possible?)! Now mission 5 is without the tanks. I'll probably reload an earliest save from mission 4. The result in mission 4 is somewhat strange since I totally wiped out all the defenders - the text prior to mission 5 saying tanks had to be sent to the area where mission 4 took place in order to help those troops there defeat the enemy is not really suitable - there was no German left in fighting condition for god's sake! What a great mission though - superb atmosphere!
  10. Yes and since the football thingy is over we need Aris to resume his work on the vehicles! But I guess it's the heat that is preventing him to do any real work heh?
  11. BTW, are vanilla textures for vegetation and land used in the shown screenshot PT?
  12. For a mission involving Pathfinders in-game path-finding would have to be improved somewhat!
  13. Rambler was working on it but has since not posted any updates - looks like he needs a little push from the community!
  14. @ArtofWar, how do you make your screenshots to actually show what is on screen - when I press Prt Scr button grass disappears from my taken screenshot.
  15. Edit: I meant 3 squads and not platoons! Anyway I am now playing it in WEGO and it's much better now which can be seen in much lower number of my fallen soldiers.
  16. I'm having a blast with the revised version PT! Plays much better now and it already was rocking before. Am in Ecoqueneuville at the moment and will probably restart this mission since I've put it to real time and missed that 3 platoons got chopped up by mines. I've sent to death platoon after a platoon 'cos I was with my mind on the other side of the map. Duh. It's so damn hot where I live that it's hard to play cautiously these days...
  17. Oh, totally missed it! Now I trust in your judgement and passion for detail again!
  18. I played the campaign version. All good then! BTW, truck derelict is marked on your map but I see no truck there just a bunch of garbage. Looking at historical maps I couldn't really understand which way were guns directed - the same as yours? Yours look kinda funny 'cos their fire would be obstructed by trees?
  19. You just gave me the answer yeah as soon as I stopped my men they would be turned in meat.
  20. SPOILER ALERT! It was fun and it kept me on my toes until the end. I positioned the two machine gun teams to provide a covering fire and sent grunts in the trenches. Company leader was the first to jump in the trenches and led the attack, he he. Maybe German soldiers surrendered a bit too quickly on contact, dunno. I had a lot of them surrendered whilst in the real historic mission no surrender would have been possible. When trenches were cleared I sent my men towards the exit bypassing the mine field. German additional units that arrived were suppressed by my two machine guns and they all broke. Maybe this last wave of Germans should have a bit tougher morale or something so they don't return back to when they came from as soon as one of their guys is hit? I gave this mission a 4 out of 5 stars There is room for improvements.
  21. Tried the first mission quickly. How does one make soldiers to reach the objectives? Should I send soldiers off the beach as quickly as possible or is it good that you assign some teams who then provide a covering fire?
  22. Aha, I see! Regardless of the confusion I enjoyed this short mission. So the artillery gun started to shoot on your approaching men? You should have positioned it a bit to the side and that problem would be fixed wouldn't it be? If no changes are done on map then add the text saying the fourth gun is only imaginary.
  23. I just played it in your revise The road to Mounterburg campaign. There seems to be a little problem with the guns. There should be 4 but my soldiers only found 3 and were all over the trenches. Also the suggested gun positions (Gun 3 for example) are swapped so when your soldiers make a contact it says Gun 1 next to Gun 3 text.
