  1. Oh so it's Fuser's work - I haven't payed attention to who posted that, was sure it was you - my bad!
  2. Just a note to all those who own CW module - helmets included here are not compatible with that module since only half of the helmet texture appears in the game if you apply them to Luftwaffe ans SS units.
  3. I had no problem extracting it. What a fabulous mod you made Mord - bravo!
  4. ZOOOOMG! Been away for a day and I missed the grand opening, hope there's still merchandise on the shelves for me!
  5. Nice. I've sent you PM mjkerner - should I rather contact para instead now?
  6. Nope, he will release all weapons when they are done at the same time.
  7. Yes, don't use #1 when applying mods. If something ain't present in vanilla then it's saver not to introduce it anew
  8. What's up with you guys - he asked nicely and got such intense answers - is the Moon cycle so potent today?
  9. I'm afraid no renaming is possible - game engine won't be able to read changed names properly.
  10. @mjkerner: I'm interested in what you got there - can you please send me the link to via PM? Is your combo historically authentic?
  11. They will write over each other so you need to download each mod and when inserting each helmet/uniform in z folder make sure they do not overwrite each other. In order to "secure the perimeter" you have to ensure that you give proper number to each file from no added number (example: german-waffenss-asg-uniform-grey.bmp) to next higher number (example: german-waffenss-asg-uniform-grey 2.bmp, german-waffenss-asg-uniform-grey 3.bmp, etc.). Hope I made myself clear. if not just shout and I'll try to rephrase myself
  12. Thanx for the clarification patboy. What luftwaffe uniform - which file/s? I'm puzzled as to what's the difference between boots and ankle boots? Can you maybe show a screenshot? Edit: Just spotted the black sheep: german-waffenss-asg-uniform-blue is actually having lufwaffe decals. Vanilla bug it seems that nobody noticed before!
  13. Yes it's great but I'm not sure how far I'm supposed to go aka how colourful were Germans historically? Which German branch (Heer, Luftwaffe, SS) had the biggest variety of uniform and helmet patterns and which was the least colourful? Were all branches very colourful? Special thanx to the creator of the helmets from me to!
  14. Yes that is the case Erwin but I don't know why there are two different uniform entries if the uniforms are the same? To explain myself further I'll provide a simple case below. Let's say I applied mod "A" with 3 different uniforms for SS units. Step 1) I named the following files like this: german-waffenss-cammo-uniform, german-waffenss-cammo-uniform 2, german-waffenss-cammo-uniform 3 Step 2) I used the same 3 files from "A" mod and named them: german-uniform-waffenss-ankle-boots, german-uniform-waffenss-ankle-boots 2, german-uniform-waffenss-ankle-boots 3 I'm wondering if "Step 2)" is really necessary in order to get those 3 different uniforms to appear in game? I'm sure you guys should know this - did newly applied uniforms appear if you just did step 1? Vanilla does not give us any clues and as already said I'm wondering why there are two different texture entries if vanilla uniforms for each are clones? Edit: patboy partly answered my question in another thread:
  15. What is the difference between "german-waffenss-cammo-uniform" and "german-uniform-waffenss-ankle-boots"? They both look the same when you expand the .brz file. Which SS units use which one? Applying different SS uniform mods I duplicated each - is this necessary?
  16. He he, what a funny read! Fine polishing of the game is needed, some features are sorely missing - that we can all agree upon
  17. I hope that awful PIAT color gets "fixed"
  18. That's an awesome report - a bow to the master! You were lucky Germans advanced trough the orchard - in my game only a few soldiers went into it with a scout car, the rest were advancing on the leftmost open land (just left from the orchard from the USA point of view). I left two men at the fore-guard to slow the advancing German army down and sent the rest through the orchard where they waited for the Germans and actually managed to pick off all of them. PIAT team got rid of the scout car. I was lucky that I had them nearby otherwise the rest of the men would be goners. I'm waiting for PT to share some historical info on that battle with us - it must have been hell for both sides involved.
  19. I already have those (with the exception of red cross) - what I need is helmets with different material on them for camouflage not insignias.
