Here is my 2 cent wet dream! They are busy working on a "simultaneous orgasm" release of CMFI Module, CMRT module and maybe something else. Santa takes a massive golden dump in our stocking! @Cobetco Draw us up a picture for that image!

A while back, maybe back in the late summer 2016 I was posting my timeline and showed it with predicted CMFI Module #2 for early 2017 and did feel I was being a bit negative but I guess it might now be actually optimistic! My personal bull****e hypothesis here: I can only scratch my head and figure this whole BFC business is a back burner side show for the key guys. They gotta have other jobs taking up their time and then add in the family requirements and probably burn-out and disinterest. To me this CM stuff must suck the hind tit for them. Like those old rock stars on the road singing the same damn hits from 30 years ago? But without the female groupies, royalties and great drugs! We are gonna have to just be thankful for whatever they manage to fart out for us. EDIT: fart out? Ok, I retract that. This CM project management CANNOT be easy. You got the new 3D models to get from Casio Lima studio plus artwork plus any mods by in-house guys to existing art plus the scenario and campaign authors and then the beta testers plus any new voice files or whatever needed. Plus all this is probably on the no deadline basis to lower the costs. Good luck to all the folks involved especially if dealing with real life crap like cancer, substance abuse, divorce, failing marriage, new Harley, new girlfriend half your age, erectile dysfunction, college tuition costs for the kids, aging parents need a nursing home, etc etc f-ing etc.

Nigel, When you play a PBEM against a human opponent by WEGO, you can save all the incoming turn files, I think it does by default, you have to select to tidy up folders and delete them. Each of your saved incoming turns then represents an opportunity to go and load that saved file in CM and rewatch that minute of play's action from any angle, to take screenshots, examine in detail "What the fudge happened?" and such. It is not a video capture. If you were to take some video using FRAPs for example of the minute's play it would only be that view point as saved video of the minute's action.

@weapon2010 I think you really answered your own question. Everyone has limited time to play the game and to delve off into the editor or do a mod takes even more time. Of the hundred attempts to make a scenario/mod, how many make it to daylight? Less than 5 probably. Please go back to one of your scenario projects and spend some time to try to polish it up a tad and upload it.

You are very welcome. Also just FYI, there is a new Finn mini mod I just made, not winter. And a Cholm 1942 Mod I did. and another team did a Stalingrad Mod. All at a great price. 0.00 Euros/Dollars/Quatloos.

These are the phrases we need voice acted out in Finnish. 1 recording minimum, 2 different is stock selection. so 2 different people or just different tone of voice of the same Finn. At this point in time, these CMRT winter mod scenarios and mod files just together use a modtag [snow] and other modtags to call forth the modded terrain files and uniform files and vehicles and other special stuff NO MATTER the editor date.

@Reiter Do the artillery commands in Finnish at least one version per category AND I will make you a Talvisota winter war mini-mod. Deal?

@lavehk I hope you can download the necessary files to enjoy a few of the winter scenarios. @BarbaricCo (the magnificent Stjepan) and I and some other few modders put some serious hours into that project. It is a giant monstrosity of files AND we did NOT mod every vehicle but I think it is worth it to try and download it. If you have the hard drive space I do recommend you do a 2nd CMRT install (just a quick easy copy of the files NOT loading from the CD!) and set up your mods to be partitioned to each of the 2 installs. Non-winter to your original summer 1944 install and the winter mod in the z folder for the winter mod install. It makes avoiding/solving mod conflict issues much easier. In my threads I have a walk-thru on how to do the 2nd install. with its own desktop icon to fire it up. Good luck. PM me if you need help.

Oh $hi+ guys! You are yanking at my heart strings. This is starting to sound like one of those 1970 "roasts" and who was that old comedian who always pretended to be drunk? Foster Brooks? Jeez, maybe I do just need a few months off and will come back. In December I am going to Pisa, Italy for a week with this hot 39 year-old marathon runner lady. I will walk the Pisa marathon but she will run it. Maybe I just need some "action" and can get back on the CM saddle! My doctor is making me get a stress test before he will sign the form to send to the marathon sign-up. Maybe the 39 year old needs me to have that test also. She's got kids. I've got kids. Hard to find time for privacy and such events that fill that privacy. Anyway, maybe TMI. But I do sincerely care about all you forum buddies and let me just say that a nice break will make me refreshed and ready to contribute again. Maybe ten years IS kind of extreme... for my buddies...

My last big break was sparked by 9/11 in 2001 where I got very busy doing overseas Navy Port Security inspections and 5th & 6th Fleet general deployed ship support for the GWOT and then I retired in 2007 and came back to the US to build a house and I never went back to CM until after CMBN was released, rejoined the forum sometime in 2011 . About 10 years break or so. It was actually very good in hindsight. So, see you in 2025!
