  1. FI terrain textures are so good that at first I decided it wasn´t worth the effort to improve them, moreover I didn´t even feel I could anyway, so it was a wasted effort everytime I tried to add something better looking to the stock graphics. Some of them are almost perfect to me, so eventually i decided to forget the project. But, man, I can´t resist the temptation to add something here and there. So I started selecting the ones that would be easily improved by entirely modifying them(just seven or eight textures actually) and on the ones that look superb I simply tried to retouch to further improve them. The task is daunting, but worth the effort. This is just an example of a new plough field. If you are interested I may post some more. Not that I have many of them so far and the differences on some of them is not so big, but well..., modding is fun...
  2. You are right, slightly off-topic after all.
  3. They look like boulders the size of a Tiger Turret, not rocks to me...¿?
  4. Actually I think the depiction of Rocks in the game is a bit wrong. They are way too big when compared to a tank, clearly visible but out of scale IMHO.
  5. A screenshot of a scratch rebuild of the Fiat 626 in very early stage...
  6. Uploaded to the Repository. Hope you like it. It´s a big change from stock I´d say.
  7. Umm, you are right, the texture is black in the stock texture. I don´t know if it´s a mapping problem or not. I tried to modify it but it remained coal black anyway,...I will do some tests later. Thanks for the heads up.
  8. Applying decals, editing the weathering layers and color balance,...and adding an extra touch with some custom terrain textures I made for personal use (sand and mud).
  9. Palermo, Sicily, you can imagine how much dust and sand these Shermans had... Anyway, as I have said in the past: some gamers hate to have so much weathering on their vehicles so don´t even install my mods, some prefer slight, very slight weathering, so don´t install my mods, some don´t like mods at all, and so on,...so there is a huge amount of players who dislike my work in some way or other, but,...I make mods that I like when playing myself, I make mods because I like making mods, I make mods that I fell proud of somehow, but I don´t plan to make everyone happy, that would make a slave of me. THANKS again for the feedback, it helps me being aware,...but not afraid, of your opinions
  10. Could be, you may be perfectly right on that matter, but many of the pics I have found show very dusty Shermans, But, who knows, modding is adding that "extra" you like for your own game,...and then share,...so that's it. Thanks for the feedback.
  11. Thanks for the feedback frigo...still fixing color balance... Shermans, headache mods they are...
  12. Having a hard time deciding if the colors of the stock Shermans are too saturated and on the greenish side. I have made several tests as I personally don´t like the stock Yellow Earth color, but I don´t really know if it resembles the actual colors used in the Theater...any ideas? You can see the huge difference between the partially modded hull and the stock Turret.
  13. Uploading, available as soon as devs approve it. 2 Decal sets.
  14. I do I made 3 or 4 scenarios for CMBN and nearly 100 vehicle and terrain mods for BN and FI, and the man who opened the thread hasn´t posted a single thank you yet. I understand the lack of scenarios must be frustrating, but the tone of the post wasn´t very polite i´d say. Seems as if the community deserved something to him.
  15. There is a lack of scenarios since criticism is quite high these days. Spending days of work to see it being despised is something quite common, unfortunately. Human nature, I guess.
  16. And now, on to decalling... P.S: Latest Patch 1.01, DOESN´T conflict with my vehicle mods.
  17. Next, the Autoblinda 41, will be ready sometime this week...still lot of work to do...
  18. Not a bad idea at all, in fact I actually quite like it. Thumbs up for you mate.
