Thanks dude. It's designed by a mate and me. "RHI_01 Abram's Folly - Singling", you can find it at repository. Only H2H scenario. Enjoy it!
-
Let's illustrate that thread with some pics taken from a panzerfaust action in a semi urban environement. Just for fun...

agree +1 Most of urban maps don't reflects very well an urban environemet, specially a frech rural urban environement. I mean, narrow streets (and often twisted streets), high walls, little orchards, barns and gardens in the back of houses, impasse streets, etc. In my opinion maps are very importants to get an immersive experience beyond the knows tweeks and bugs of the game engine, specially urban maps.

I would like to share our version of Singling's battle with english speakers people but I fear i need a translator (you can take a look to the "Retaken Vierville" briefing to know that's true...). If someone mastering both spanish and english language would like to give us a hand we will apreciate it a lot. Of course his name will be in a principal place at scenario's credit section. Anyone interested in send me a message to "adelscott @ ono point com"

New H2H scenario: Retaking Vierville
GI Adelscott replied to GI Adelscott's topic in CM Normandy Maps and Mods
Here is. Enjoy! http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=314&func=fileinfo&id=1755 -
I'm not sure if i've properly submitted the file, but if not, I'll do... Fierce combats arround Vierville to regain or maintain their control. German forces are attacking the small garrison left at Vierville by airborne troops.

I agree, sometimes is a really bad idea to destroy a tank... You never knows what kind of demons are using the enemy as crew...

120mm german mortar question
GI Adelscott replied to poesel's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
Using a captured enemy tank is not a strategic decision, however, to decide a certain space for the crew of a tank in every single tank design it is. Using captured enemy tanks due to shortage of resources its an strategic decision but, in such case, we are not talking about own designs. Anyway, as Im not an english speaker probably the word "doctrine" isn't appropiatte. I'll try to quote you some text about that. By the way i recommend you "Tank men" by Robert Kershaw. -
Weird incident with tank ammo
GI Adelscott replied to Tigrii's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
As the commander hatch is open probably the pzIV's crew thought that it was better idea to kill the commander with a well placed HE round instead to try make a nice hole on sherman's plate. I don't know how the AI manages those calculations, but probably pzIV had more chance to get a positive result in this way, in game terms I mean. -
120mm german mortar question
GI Adelscott replied to poesel's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
... and german doctrine gave much more importance to the crew's comfort than allied (especially russian) doctrine, so the T-34 was not a design to be directly copied. -
[WIP] Conduct Mappin: BOBBAK to BN
GI Adelscott replied to Japanzer's topic in CM Normandy Maps and Mods
I supposed that, but it seemed as the program only needed the file (.cme or whatever xtension of cmx1 maps), not the whole CMx1 program. Thanks for the answer! -
[WIP] Conduct Mappin: BOBBAK to BN
GI Adelscott replied to Japanzer's topic in CM Normandy Maps and Mods
The same happens to me. I have not installed any CMx1 title right now. Is it necesary to have it installed to import maps? -

Wanted features
GI Adelscott replied to Fredrik Wallin's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
Rubbles blocking LOS; artillery with more scatter factor, less accurate, with a minimum of radius depending on caliber (it's ridiculous to ask -and get it- a 105 point mission just 50 meters far from our FO), building protecting a bit more from mortars impacts -at least in lower floors... and the others things said this time in the first post and in previous ones talking about the same... -
HMG from Saving Private Ryan
GI Adelscott replied to rocketman's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
It's an AA weapon although it was used in an antipersonnel role too. It's a 20mm Flak 38 -
My mate Iosef and me we are near to finish our first scenario. It's has been masively tested at the spanish site Punta de lanza Nabla CMBN tournament , but i'm developing a vsAI version too (usa human vs. german IA) I show you some shots from the village. I hope to give you both versions in a pair of weeks!

How to take a screenshot, edit it and post it
GI Adelscott replied to Sergei's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
Free version of FRAPS works well with CMBN and Windows 7. You'll get .bmp files altough. Anyway, you can edit them and change the format to jpg, .gif or whatever with irfanview, in exemple. -

GI Adelscott replied to Nidan1's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
I've just finished a PBEM game and my opponent (Windows 7 Home) suffered this problem lot of times.
