  1. Please let vehicles make moving turns, not stop pivot move stop pivot move etc. No you cannot put enough 'waypoints' consistently enough to help turning maneuverability. The game is so phenomenal I can't understand why this won't worked especially when it worked pretty good in CMBO 1.
  2. Tracers are still pretty visible in daylight. Of course they say it is one that you don't see is the one that will get you.
  3. I know they are out of time line : jumbo's, su-100, Jackson, Pershing, Super Pershing. But sometimes it is nice to be able to throw some of those in to the scenario just for the fun of it, just to figure out how one would deal with it. After all, with all the emphasis on time line and correctness for some reason vehicles still cannot round out a corner. I haven't seen too many halftracks stop and pivot in order to turn and just try to go around something, stop, pivot, lurch, stop, pivot, lurch, etc, all the while making a nice target. I have been playing CM:BO and CM:BN since they became available on the MAC even to the point of using a windows emulator for CM:BO and I have enjoyed them immensely. So I guess the tanks and stuff would fall into the nice to have category but I do wish something could be done about the driving. (Yes I rambled but at my age it's acceptable).
  4. Pershings, Super Pershings, M36(B1), Jeep w/57 or 75 RR. Sherman Jumbo's, JS-III, SU-100, Comet, KV-II, JGPZIV/70, Jadtiger, Jagpanther.
  5. I realize they were really rare but just for the fun of it eventually I would like to see all of the armor that existed back then be available to and include JSIII, Super Pershings, Sherman jumbos, jagtigers etc. Kinda like CMBO 1. It is great to play the historical scenario but sometimes just for the heck of it we can throw in something wild.
  6. Will the 3.0 engine used in CMRT be ported to CMFI and CMBN?
  7. I have never deliberately tried to shoot a prisoner, but I've found when I forgot to turn off area fire some of those who have surrendered got killed
  8. Like all good works of art, which I consider the construction of these scenarios to be, a good feedback indicator is the number of downloads. People love music, movies, art, etc. but very few will write the creator. Feedback usually contains critiques because human nature usually likes to point out areas of improvement. I have downloaded several scenarios and have enjoyed every one of them. Part of the decision to download is the number of times it has been previously downloaded. I guess I could have said something like how much I liked it, but never having made a scenario I figured I was not qualified to critique. Sometimes no news is good news. I am 66 years young and have played war games for before some of you were mere twinkles in your daddy's eye. So all you folks out there who spend countless hours making new battles for us to play keep heart. There are many silent ones like me who give you our heartfelt thanks!!
  9. While in Nam, I had, in addition to my M-16, an M-1 Carbine (from the South Vietnamese Army) and a Thompson. (I traded a marine a reel to reel tape recorder for it.) Although the only weapon I got to use in actual combat was the M-16 I found the M-1 was great to plunk with but for real stopping power for 50 - 75 yards you could not beat the Thompson. Having said that I'm sure in WWII the M-1 could put out reasonable fire power at the 100 yd range while the Garand would have been the weapon of choice for longer ranges. As far as stopping power, a wound from the M-1 that incapacitates can be as good as a kill.
  10. I would like the ability for vehicles to be able to push other vehicles out of the way, i.e. tanks push jeeps, trucks, halftracks and even other tanks. They certainly have the ability to do it. (Reminiscent of CMBO)
  11. I have upgraded to Lion and am experiencing the challenges that others have as well. Phil has "e-d" me back and forth in an attempt to fix these areas and I believe he and the rest of the staff are hard at work to do so. I know we want the fix yesterday but as Star Trek's Scotty said (and I know this is not an exact quote but its close) ' the more intricate the plumbing the easier it is to plug it up'. I am 63 years old have been wargaming since pewter soldiers and GHQ 1/285 scale micro armor. Lets cut Phil and the staff some slack and if it takes a little longer to get this right, as there is probably a bazillion lines of code, then so be it.
  12. In the new CM the vehicles really slow down and even stop when making a turn especially a 90 degree one. I did not see this in the earlier CM series and as a former member of the military I can say with certainty that virtually no vehicle has to stop and pivot to turn. In the game this makes it a sitting duck. Short of placing lots of movement directions is there another way to get a little more realism?
