  1. That's because the person shooting the jav is not a specialist for demolitions. If some1 other than a demo expert shoots the javelin, that usually happens. Basically, dont give people who didn't train with javelins, javelins.

  3. I think that SF is pretty much a lone game in sense of how it functions. True, it would be categorized under RTS but really, of all the RTSs I have played (a lot), none are quite like it. Never have I had to deal with troops panic and cry like babies on the field. Never did I have to actually bail out troops from vehicles stuck in the mud. Never have I ever needed to run my troops back to the dead/wounded to try and steal their weapons and then beam them away. Its awesome. Now with this game, the interface could be improved but to resemble a standard RTS like Red Alert??? I don't think it so. A mini-map as described by GSX would be highly welcome for me. as would the assigning of units to custom groups. Things like what Steve quoted would be disastrous for CM. Anyhoo. After seeing the rating given by the reviewer on IGN, I thought he would pick CM apart for major things but after reading the review, I was left scratchin my head thinking "this is it?... He have it a 6 because of that?"
  4. one thing that is missing from the game is fences. Something unpassable but does not provide protection. In the scenario editor, it says "walls, trenches, and fences" but I have yet to see a fence. I dont know if it will be hard to integrate fences but it will definitely add to the game a bit. Other than that and units not being able to peek/shoot around corners (which has been discussed) I am quite satisfied with the new patch's MOUT
  5. The hotkey for the targeting command is "T" i believe... It could be my own one but im not so sure anymore.

  12. yup. CMMODS is up and running now. It was down but now it works

  15. No. Its just like that Unless they mean that they match up when the infantry are completely out of ammo but thats dumb.
  16. I remember reading in the manuel of the vanilla game that the slow on vehicles matched up with infantry movement sooo...
  17. Yea. I posted this in the wrong wrong section but... The "slow" movement on the vehicles and the "move / quick" movement on the infantry dont match up exactly. Aren't they supposed to be the same speed so that you can have infantry walking along-side tanks and stuff?

  19. I dont think you can randomize weapon skins. I tried to do it with the desert camo and the normal M4 but it didn't work.
