Terif your right about russia.Im playing a pbem right now and russia fell in early 45 but im now doomed.Its late aug 45 and hes on in england.But i will FIGHT TO THE DEATH.As far as the rest of what you said goes,sometimes(which makes total sense) it fun as germany just to go nuts and start attacking everywhere just to see what the englander will do.I did this once and i won the game because i had so many mpps that i out produced him.Plus its alot of fun wiping out the defenceless.

Lealoc after youve played the africa campaign go to any of the russian campaigns.Its just carnage.You will love it.

I kind of thought that to SeaMonkey.What if germany took denmark right away and used denmark to base aircraft to attack wounded allied ships.

It seems to me you guys are saying if you take norway with the british right away you shouldnt attempt to hold it from germany.I would then think the reason for taking it would be to deny germany the spoils for the initial take over & the mpps from norway as long as possible.If germany wants to take it back she can but it would be risky with the french & british navy still around.Correct?

I must have waited one turn to long to do it.Thats why it snowed on my turn.The one time i did make it i took norway with no problem and the ai did attack with its ships and subs and i did wipe them out.

I tried 4 times attacking norway with the british right away.3 times it snowed for 3turns & my invasion supply level went way down & one time i made it no problem.Is it better to wait untill 1940 for better weather?

Ive never had to wait that long.Ive had them come on in spring 1940.Maybe they just dont like you or they have joined the germans.

So your saying that intell.has an effect on the enemys ability to raise their ind.tech.I didnt know that.I thought it just mostly affected your own ability for your own country.

Would it be better for the country representing the minor country that was just declared war on to have the right to deploy those minor country forces the way they want & not have the computer set them up.Some of the deployments leave them open to be surrounded right away.

I found that they only came up in certian cities.Maybe im wrong.

If russia is defeated germany should be forced to keep an occupation force in russia,or there should be some punishment for not doing so.Look at the amount of german troops tied down in all the countries that she did occupy.

You may also have to provide alot of air cover for your engineer.The computer usually starts bombing it.

To bad these guys didnt have a hand in making & upgrading Third Reich.Another potential great computer game which also has lots of bugs.

I couldnt agree more.I think it should be if you have a zone of control(like in third reich)you cant send any renforcements.The only thing the surrounded units can do is draw say about 40%supply only from any uncaptured city inside the zone of control that they control,Unless the surrounded units were in a fortress like cherbourg etc.Although i dont know how you would add the fortress feature into this game.Otherwise if they remain surrounded for a month(like third reich)they are eliminated.

Blashy the type7 which was germanys main uboat used had a maximum operational depth of 120 meters & a crush depth of 250 meters(type vIIc/41).I dont see how you could look down into the north atlantic and hope to even see half that depth.

Blashy i apologise.I see what your getting at.Your just setting the production mods to historical.Plus all the other changes you made make sense.I was talking about a hypothetical situation.My mistake.

The guy im playing right now has taken france. its sept 1940 russia wont annex baltic states.Russia has annexed the area around finland & eastern poland.

Blashy i dont agree with you that germany couldnt have defeated russia.Remember this game doesnt factor in the fact that when germany attacked russia the germans were treated as liberators & if germany had used that to their atvantage from all the books ive read on this subject(ive read many)russia would have gone into a revolt just like in ww1.Germany wouldnt have hardly to fire a shot.Now germany would have about 3million men to use somewhere else.Goodbye africa.Now germany seizes the mideast oil fields(remember the people of the mideast were tired of british rule & were going to help germany if the germans managed to sieze suez).Different war.This would all happen before america comes in to the war.I agree with you though that americas industrial output should go up alot as the war progresses.Just my 2cents worth.

How about english overall morale starts to drop if the sinkings go up.Its one thing to be able to hide your losses in combat from the public,its a whole other matter to hide starvation.If sueing for peace is an option there should also be a backstabbing option somehow put into the game.I find it hard to believe that if england did sue for peace & germany was able to wipe out russia that hitler wouldnt turn his attention back to england & demand more out of them.

Winston curchill:The only thing that ever worried me was the uboat peril.From the book the the uboat wars:A letter to roosevelt from churchill:The mortal danger we face is the steady & increasing diminution of sea tonnage.Unless we can establish our ability to feed this island we may fall by the way.In the five weeks ending nov3 1940 britains losses totaled 420.000 tons, a figure comparable to the worst YEAR in ww1.The british govt.estimated that it would take a minimum 43 millon tons to keep britain going but the five week loss in nov cut the rate to 37 million tons.England wouldnot survive 1941 if this continued.So the uboats in sc2 should be able to starve england out of the war.I also thoght that the 1.05 patch(i do appreciate all the work you tech guys do)was going to fix that.
