  1. What exactly would BF do with $1? That wouldn't even be a decent amount to pay them to acknowledge they received the suggestion. If your suggestion is that every person who wants them to develop idea A send $1 you better go organize that effort and send them a lump sum check or they will simply get annoyed. They still likely won't accept it as Steve has already noted their issue isn't a backlog of ideas. He has plenty. Better idea. Fly up to Maine, take Steve out for a night of beer tasting, pick up the tab and use that time to market your ideas. That MIGHT make enough of an impression (but be sure to include a write up of your ideas as it is likely after enough beer he'll simply forget the conversation next morning).
  2. Ken, I think they just are never going to get it. alas for the fleeing tendencies of this younger generation...though that doesn't explain Emrys.
  3. From home page select store, than Battlefront Classic Games. All 3 CMx1 titles are listed and the purchase buttons all seem to work fine.
  4. Good timing I didn't want to live in gentrified. No where near as interesting.
  5. Damn straight baby, I lived in unhip poor Brooklyn. Finished high school at a place that I just found out was closed as it ranked worst in academic performance. Despite that I won the regent's scholarship there. Now my old neighborhood is total hipster land. No more old guys hanging out playing dominos in front of the bodega or roosters crowing all the time (I gotta suspect they were for cockfighting). I had friends in the E Village though squatting (no not that way) abandoned apts. Saw Venice, Looked far too lame. The one that got me though was the squatters in W Phila, this one girl slept in a coffin and kept a pet rat. Wack jobs mostly coming from wealthy parents.
  6. lol One of these days churches will figure out that strategy for recruiting men. We really are suckers. Advertisers and vendors have known it for years.
  7. Because Kenc3kinov would never tolerate such lack of blood thirsty aggressiveness. Flee the scene? You even considered it and wonder why you only got a "major victory"? Do you not realize you actually suffered a humiliating defeat even considering fleeing?
  8. Yeah my worst case was Robert Mugabe. Talk about a disaster for his people. I was in high school doing clothing drives for ZANU and the patriotic front to benefit the population displaced into refugee camps by the war. As much as that did need to happen, ZANU has been an abysmal failure at governing. Can't say the ANC has that much better of a record. Problem is people who seize power via military means already have the mindset of "us vs them" and believe their efforts mean they shouldn't have to share power. They lose sight of who they were supposedly representing and assume their organization itself represents the nation.
  9. Kutzenov just lost another aircraft. http://www.upi.com/Top_News/World-News/2016/12/05/Second-Russian-fighter-jet-crashes-attempting-aircraft-carrier-landing/4261480940373/
  10. Are you questioning what is a book or which book? The book is the one I cited in the comment you responded to.
  11. Yes and no- Look at what the US Army was willing to do in the Hurtgen. Unit after unit was sent in over months and bled white with no real clear strategic or even operational rationale. A Dark and Bloody Ground is a great read on the subject.
  12. Nice propaganda site, but even it does not list even one individual personally shot by Che. I don't doubt for a moment that he did at some point but you specifically said he personally shot 700 people and enjoyed it, I don't see anything in this to back that up.
  13. Can you cite something for that as I've read nearly everything he ever wrote and if I was asked to I could not back that up - either the 700 personally, his delight or his quote.
  14. How was Che a mass murderer? Whatever else he may or may not have done, I have never heard of an instance of even a large scale massacre much less a "mass murderer". A year after his death the US would massacre 504 Vietnamese at My Lai. Now that is getting closer to mass murderer status. As to Batista, I don't know that you can say Castro was FAR worse. The guy was as repressive as anyone and never even attempted to provide anything to Cubans, hell the guy worked business deals with the Mafia.
  15. I'd settle for them adding the Soviet Equipment for CMRT to CMFB. I'd pay full price for that.
  16. Chris did a campaign in CMSF that started with a US airdrop onto an Syrian airfield. (Task Force Panther). It was a company size battle that had your teams appearing in a disorganized fashion into the battle. Great scenario and a really cool campaign.
  17. Hey if the Witnesses feel the same way, it's a win for me!
  18. No not at all https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burke_and_Hare_murders probably not related, but I tell the Jehovah witnesses I am when they come knocking.
  19. Unfortunately it is not on Kindle yet, but you can pick this up used. https://www.amazon.com/Krinkelt-Rocherath-Villages-William-C-Cavanagh/dp/0815804350/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1480558512&sr=1-1&keywords=The+Twin+Villages If Shipping is your big issue in Japan just send to me and I'll drop it in the post next trip (likely spring). It s a really good detailed view of that battle. The12th SS attack wasn't particularly inspired, but it was tenacious. Kind of a hallmark of the SS. Their biggest problems though were based more on bad intel. They ran smack into 2 Divisions, one a veteran formation with good leadership and the 2nd an untried unit that nevertheless showed what US training had been able to accomplish. Add to that a crap load of arty in Elsenborn and the 12th never really had a chance.Granted those divisions were pulling off an incredibly difficult maneuver which should have made the job of the 12th easier. The twin villages battle itself was a close quarters knife fight mostly at night so the strong points of the Panther were completely wasted.
  20. I think you are over simplifying the ISIS base. Look back at a few other posts by folks with experience in Iraq about the constituency of a lot of these insurgent groups. True believers are somewhat harder to come by than hangers on and folks looking for an easy paycheck etc.
  21. I think he was referring to Iraqis govt guys. That would probably be why he referred to "clearances".
  22. Damn you I am trying to eat at an airport counter. Snorting is not approved!
