  1. I believe the only media outcry will be for the immediate release of a CMx2 WWII title.
  2. Not sure off the top of my head, but I'll take a look. I can tell you that the landing forces on Guadalcanal came ashore with two "old howitzers" (perhaps mountain guns) and three HMGs, while the other portions of the 3rd Kure SNLF were not likewise equipped.
  3. I'm not sure if this information is included in the links you posted, and I can't be bothered to check. Guadalcanal 11th Construction Unit 1350 men under Cpt Kanae Monzen 13th Construction Unit 1221 men under Cdr Tokunaga Okuma Kure 3rd SNLF (part of) 247 men under Lt Yoshio Endo Tulagi 3rd Kure SNLF (part of) 350 men under Cdr Masaaki Suzuki Gavutu-Tanambogo (not sure how these were dispersed between the sites) Yokohama Air Group 342 men under Cpt Shigetoshi Miyazaki 14 Construction Unit 144 men under ? 3rd Kure SNLF (platoon) 50 men under ? Your Guards unit is SNLF, not ALF. For example, the Kure 3rd was once designated 84th Guard Unit. If'n you need, I can provide you with the strength of the 2nd and 38th divisions, the 35th Brigade, 17th Army HQ and Transportation units, Ship Units, and Naval units when they came ashore, including numbers of MGs and field guns and tanks, and the resultant strength on Nov 20. Or of you need figures on support aircraft, or the commander of No. 9 Bomber Squadron, RNZAF, I'm more than willing to show off my groggy knowledge.
  4. Protect the floorboards from the everyday wear and tear of family life.
  5. It hides red wine stains. What more do you want? Some kind of advanced static electricity model? Lord knows the kind of shocks you can get when you mix shag carpets and combat boots.
  6. No... no, that is not right Joe. Ooze we can expect from Dalem. Perhaps you have forgotten where Dalem came from. Genesis 2:7 And the LORD Seanachai shat Dalem onto the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and Dalem became a living soul. Yes, Dalem can ooze... most noticeable on a hot day </font>

  8. Wiki for ****e It's even listed first, to make it easy for you.
  9. My sweet and salty Jesus, you have taken everything that is good and right about COmbat Mission and smeared it what can only be described as an incredible load of ****e. I find it hard to repress the urge to vomit not only upon the screen that displays this thread, but also upon its participants.
  10. I wonder how many seconds separated our posts?
  11. There is a scenario by the name of "26 Minutes" and an operation by the name of "Pegasus Bridge" that fit your CMAK-y requirements. I can e-mail them both to you should you wish.
  12. If I dropped by more than once a year, I might get accused of being addicted to the internet or somefink. Wouldn't want to have rumours started. </font>
  13. I haven't gone anywhere, and the corn is not yet tall enough to hide behind, so perhaps it is you that have been hiding? From my internet presence, that is. Working on it. Oddly enough I recieved information from a gambit of religious-affiliated all-women's schools. If you're reading this St. Kate's, piss off. No vacation, and meh. What's the point in asking a bevy of questions in a decidedly dead-end thread if you don't anticipate a bevy of answers? I haven't had all that much time up until the past week or so. Even so I've finished off Wragg's Swordfish, a book nominally about the Taranto raid but in fact one third a romance poem to the Fleet Air Arm in the late 30's, one third generic commentary on battles taking place well after Taranto, and one third on the workup and raid itself; Milner's The U-Boat Hunters, about the RCN in the Atlantic from 1943-1945; Mohr's A Magnificent Irishman From Appalachia, a history of the First Ohio Light Artillery, Battery L surrounding the letters of a Lieutenant James Gildea; and some O'Brian, chiefly The Mauritius Command and Blue at the Mizzen no matter how disjointed and non-sequential those two volumes may seem.
  14. Yep, though he should be back in his place by now. Soddball requested an update from Raeven over at the Annex, but she hasn't been around the past couple of weeks.
  15. Looks like Michael has some sand in his grog. It is also now apparent that you've been reading a 1600 page book type deal about the Kennedy assassination.
  16. They seem to be as large as the recoil mechanism. Does a longer muzzle brake kick up less dust, especially when the vents are angled as these seem to be?
