  1. I was thinking about altering the games main campaign and change it from a 2008 US invasion of Syria, to a 1983 Iraqi invasion, is there any way I can load the campaign missions into the map editor? In the editor I can load the scenarios, but when I look in the campaign folder it is empty. Thank you.
  2. In the map editor how to I purchase units for a red on red battle? I get two option, purchase red and purchase blue, do I need to purchase everything I want in red, if so how would I split the forces and make them enemies?
  3. "Here's the problem... The US has more money than Syria which means they can pack in more $ per solder" Okay, Syrian army budget is like $1 billion, US army budget is about 100 billion. So using an 10 to 1 modifier. Javelin with one round is 130 points, rpg with one round is 12, that seems pretty balanced.
  4. In the "cant buy troops???" thread the issue was raised of how to price units if unit purchasing was reintroduced. I propose making unit pricing proportional to the real world cost in dollars of the weapon systems. So for instance a javelin CLU and missile cost something like 130,000 dollars, while an rpg with a load out of 4 rockets costs about 1700, so a javelin would cost say 1300 points and an rpg about 17. For infanty squads, pricing would be based on the equipment, rifle, grenades, night vision, body armor etc. of the troops. So for instance a Syrian uncon with nothing but a $250 dollar AK would cost 2.5 points and an American soldier with $10,000 dollars or whatever of equipment would cost 100.
  5. The best way I've found so far is to blow a hole in the bottom floor, back the stryker in and pop smoke, that way as soon as they step out of the vehicle they are already in the building.
  6. "The ****e, the principal character in a Japanese Noh play" Well now I am really confused.
  7. "you have taken everything that is good and right about COmbat Mission and smeared it what can only be described as an incredible load of ****e" Maybe he meant an incredible load of shiite, but in that case he is misinformed, syria is Sunni nation.
  8. I thought the name was pretty clever myself, the game follows a unit of elite German armored combat engineers throughout the Russian campaign. It combines the excellent graphics, presentation, and playability of COH with long engagement ranges, large battles, realism and command system of CM.
  9. Thats why you take everything good from combat mission and add it in.
