  1. Hi GaJ! Thanks for your wonderful utility! It makes managing PBEM games so much easier. A little feedback: With the folder structure change introduced by CMRT I think some confusion is caused while pointing CMH towards our install folders. In the old situation (CMSF, FI and BN) you would point CMH towards the root install folder of the game, as it is here that the Game Files folder with the savedgames resides. In the new situation however, the savedgames reside somwgere in the My Documents folder, whereas the label of the location you need to point CMH to inside your program is still called: Root Installation Folder. Instead of having to point CMH towards the base install folder of CMRT (e.g. C:\Games\CMRT\), we actually need to point it towards the location in My Documents where it can read the savegames folder of CMRT (e.g. C:\Users\Name\My Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission\etc). I suspect this is why some people are having problems. Perhaps you should rename the location 'box' inside CMH? Lastly a little request; I don't know if this is possible at all, but would you be able to make CMH remember which filenumber / turn a given game is at while not looking at the number in the filename? I play CM on two different computers, but I currently cannot run CMH on both, because for example if I have played 4 turns on Computer A since Computer B had its last turn, CMH gets confused once I run it on computer B again to check for turns after these 4 turns have passed on the other computer. Probably because it reads the last filenumber an expects the next logical one in return? Would there be a way to circumvent this and just overwrite a given game with the latest turn found? For example making CMH remember wether you are sending odd or even numbered files and then it just checks for the highest number in the dropbox it can find with that filename? I hope I have explained it clearly enough! Cheers!
  2. Thanks for the effort! Juju in particular, but of course to All those who have helped. The UI mod is a day one download for me every time! Will you update the other UI mods with this new C&C concept as well?
  3. Thanks GAJ! Without your tool I wouldn't know how to give some structure to my PBEM chaos!
  4. I agree that the refined performance and quicker loading times are what struck me right away! Now I definately cannot wait for the 3.0 upgrade for CMBN! Keep up the good work, BFC!
  5. +1 to this! Thank you for all the hard work and research people out into these excellent scenarios!
  6. I do not want to come across as a smartass, but are you sure it's v1.11 and not v1.10? If you uninstallen the game and re downloaded it you won't have v1.11. That is a separate patch as far as I know. Otherwise it's good to check your CMBN/Data folder to see if there is a Normandy v111.brz file present. If so, you should be fine. If not, you haven't properly patched to v1.11. I hope this is helpful?
  7. Great way to introduce yourself on a forum, indeed. No need to stir up anything here. Especially not Wargamer.com related I would say. I go by the advice above; just ignore it.
  8. Fantastic work again, JuJu! Many thanks for this insta-install. GVT, the 12MB version is the General version of the mod. A different one than the TweakedUI version. General version is a 'wooden look' variant.
  9. Well do you really have to come in after all the action and pretend like you are starting it? Do you always come late at parties in real life too? Do you get as much attention on those too?
  10. Yeah, so my advise still stands; Run the patch 1.11 over your 2.0 install and then rerun the v2.0 patch again. It will fix the shaders and get your game back to v2.0
  11. Reported a few times. If you patch up to v1.11 and then redo the v2 patch your issue will be solved. To be clear;you can just rerun patch v1.11 over you 'v2 install and afterwards run the v2 patch again.
  12. I actually uninstallen Aris subdued terrain textures mod in favor for this. I really like the trees and Bocage, Rambler. It's a great addition to the stock game's graphics!
  13. I can't see too much difference on my system which has a fairly recent Nvidia GTX580... If anything, the shaders make the lighting less realistic during night scenarios as I have illustrated here... Other than that I only see some shadows change, but not much else otherwise? I rather keep the lighting working than turning on the shaders at this time, to be honest.
  14. It was included in one of the CMFI patches. I would assume BFC will be coming out with it for CMBN soon too, but if you want to get your hands on it, you need to contact a CMFI player and ask for the two files.
  15. Yes Rambler's mod does make the trees and grassy bocage too bright a green in combination with Aris' Texture mods.
  16. I completely agree with your statement here, Steve. The sense of entitlement, especially from gamers, these days is just horrible.
  17. **Confirmed working!** Copy the Normandy v111.brz file and the shaders have started working.
  18. I have pinpointed the problem, I think. My laptop was definately updated over 1.11 and on it the shaders toggle correctly. It is on my desktop that it doesn't work and I am beginning to think it was upgraded over v1.10. Not 1.11. Would I be able to fix the issue by copying the Normandy 1.11.brz file from my laptop over to my desktop? If not is there some other easy fix without having to uninstall?
  19. Not entirely true; Juju's interface doesnt display correctly. There are some new interface buttons that arent included in his mod.
  20. Ok thanks for the input. There also seems to be some shader artifacting on Ramblers bocage with the new version of the game.
  21. Yes I had the 1.11 patch installed... Any other suggestions?
  22. Sorry for necro-ing this thread, but I am sure many are wondering the same. Juju, do you have plans to update your mod for v2.0 of the game?
