  4. im so excited about CMC im checking this forum everyday for news now ! .... god damn it battlefront wish you had not told us about this until it was finished
  5. not out of the box .... so there will be functions to create them ?
  6. Are "campaigns" going to be a feature of CMx2 engine ? Battles are great fun, Operations even more fun, Campaigns could make this game perfect ! Cant wait to see a CMx2 game based in WW2 with Campaigns
  7. Thanks for reply. Guess all i can do is check battlefront every now and again (for the next year). I vote for WW2 genres too ! would like to see CMx2 western europe again with campaign mode. Close Combat 2 (bridge too far) was an excellent campaign derivative of Close Combat series - would love to see CMx2 go down the campaign route in depth.
  8. sorry, just noticed moon's post. Moon Administrator Member # 386 posted 27-04-2006 07:59 AM -------------------------------------------------The game has been announced last year, but Bruce and his team is in fact working on already for four years. No kidding... The news from wargamer.com are old news. The key position has been replaced and the team is back to work full force. Martin

  17. sorry, as EdwinP said, SWITCH is a debit card (i guess its just UK based) - i think SOLO may be european equivelent. I dont believe in credit, hence dont have a credit card. Makes it a tad more difficult to purchase SC2 ........ not accepting debit card surly alienates a percentage of the target market ?
  18. digital download - great idea - so is paying by "SWITCH" .... its not difficult to setup if you already accept credit cards!
  19. on this topic, why must we use a credit card to order ? what is wrong with "switch" or "solo" debit cards ?
  20. "One of the problems is that CMBB actually doesn't return to us the kind of information about where units end up (off board left, right, on-board, etc)." thanks for reply. We shouldnt complain about this really. I think the addition of campaign functionality excuses many of these little problems. I really hope CMC is a big sucsess so we can get one for CMAK eventully ..... or included in CMx2 game platform. Cheers Scott
  21. I had a wee search for threads on tactical reserve and couldnt find any. Im just curious to know how its going to work. 1. does a tactical reserve need to be in an ajacent square or can armour be further away than foot infantry due to mobility ? 2. at what point do reserves join a tactical battle ? are they called on request ? do they just appear ? 3. is there a delay in receving the reserve based on how far away they are ? i.e ajacent square etc and movement speed ? 4. if i surround an enemy ME and place all units in tactical reserve apart from the attacking force can i pound a position until all my forces are spent ? (i guess this depends on battle lenght too). 5. can i bring all reserves in together or is there a unit total in a battle ? Many thanks for any information. Scott
  22. thanks for the heads up , intersting thread, really looking forward to it. scott
