  1. Sorry, I couldn't find it on this forum, but what are the basic requirements for this game? The screenshots alone indicate it may need a bit of a cruncher, but I was interested to know what the requirements are to run this and the recommended.
  2. Awesome. If my troops could talk back to me I know it wouldn't be nice things.
  3. I wanted to say how much fun this ROQC is. I just finished playing 56 battles with my Panzer tank platoon. Started off in Africa in 41 and ended it in May of 45. Won about 20 of them with a few draws and the rest as losses. Was promoted to LT. COL. with one demotion in the process.
  4. Loved it! I liked the reference to the flight sim (IL2?).
  5. Thought this was worth sharing. ACG has a scenario in their magazine as well as making one for CMBB. Although small, and short, it offers an exciting scenario. http://www.armchairgeneral.com/articles.php?p=2781&page=1
  6. You're probably right that Israel won't act on its own to conduct an effective campaign. Their best bet would be to go in jointly with the US or at least with any assistance from the US by limited means through the intel community (ie-satellite imagery, human intel, etc). The US proved that it can aid so called termites against formidable foes, just look at the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Although Israel would be eager to look for a solution for an effective air campaign, it would definately be much much harder than the Iraq raid. Saddam had only one facility to be hit, while Iran currently has dozens of sites as well as underground facilities. Hitting all sites would probably be impossible and at best it would only slow the intentions of Iran wanting a nuke. By the way, it's worth mentioning that Aljazeera.com says Israel can't carry out an attack on Iran...heheh. Well never mind, probably not worth mentioning..
  7. I think we should let the UN handle this one....... (giggles madly) It's going to be a damned it you do, damned if you don't situation. With the friendly relations Iran has expressed to Israel lately, you can be sure that if the US doesn't do anything, Israel won't be comfortable just being idle. They sure didn't let Saddam have his toys, so I'm pretty sure they won't let a nation, which chants their death, have them either.
  8. Heh, nice way to ask, but yes I should have relayed what was stated. It was very brief, and it's nothing that we don't already know. "In Combat Mission: Campaigns, from Battlefront.com, players maneuver operational-level forces on World War II's Eastern Front. When opposing armies meet, the combat resolves using the famed Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin tactical game engine. 'Campains' places the CMBB tactical battles in a broader context, thereby giving them more importance." (A small screenshot of the game is displayed)
  9. I was glad to see that CMC got a little exposure in the latest issue of the Armchair General magazine. It was on their list of "Game Buzz" 10 releases.
  10. I guess they're all out for now. It does state that a pdf version will be up for sale whenever they can actually get to doing that. Is there anyone who's willing to part from theirs? I'd really like to get a hold of a copy.
  11. Excellent so far. Friend and I are trying the 18 game plan. I won a tactical victory for the "Bridges" scenario, but was totally PWNEEEED in the "Waldam Beach." I couldn't believe how badly that went for me, and usually I'm fairly good against this guy. So the score stands at Allies: 3, Axis: 79!!?? I have a lot of work to do. But great first two so far.
  12. Sweeeet. Friend and I will play this together. Thanks a lot!
  13. 26. Been playing for 3 years now. Turn based strategy are my thing. Point and click RTS are too fast paced for me. I must be showing my age =P
