  2. closes CM type senario i have found so far excellent battle !!! i must admit i tend to sick to the european battles in CM games , i find terain in africa to plain.

  4. i have heard (well ... read actually) talk of a WW2 module. Is this the case ? surly cant realase that as part of a patch ? ... thats worth money that is.
  5. just struck me that when i loaded CMAK I found the interface ackward and the visuals looked very dated. Only been 2 months since i last looked at it. Been on CMSF for 3 weeks.
  6. as said before, CMSF is a great game but still need much tweaking ... has anyone actually played CM after CMSF ... bet the visuals are a bit of a shock now !

  12. i love the game too but find the more you play the more you find the game is missing compared to CMAK. Im happy to keep playing, i can imagine the product will get better and better all the time with patches and new releases. Its a great platform for building on.

  14. interesting indeed. would love to download them once written if you dont mind i am enjoying the smaller engagements at the moment - helps learn the games subtelties.
  15. cannot do this for cover arc .... the cover armour option was a good one in CMAK ... dont want to let loose a round on infantry when armour around the corner and you are reloading when spotted.
  16. 1. with all the commotion that has been going on about the various bugs ... has anyone stopped to appricated that every soldier in a squad is now modled : ) 2. And path 1.03 is going to show all movement paths : ) 3. When creating custom battle however i cant help but feel there are a lack of units compared to CMx1 4. Plus edtor is lacking " T " junctions for walls : ( Cheers Scott
  17. in CMx1 i used cover arc to highlight the entire lenght of the map ahead for long range weapons. In CMx2 i cannot move off edge of the map so sections are uncovered ... a pain when reinforcements arrive. I posted about this ages ago.
  18. aye but in real life you can work it out using real world parameters. in the the game you cannot see from the sights of each soldier and even if you could the landscape draw lines will never be perfect. The chance of hit % is just an extralpilation of the equation a solider makes when deciding wheather to take a shot or not. If anything it make it more realistic IMO. Cheers Scott

  20. addicated to REALTIME for smaller battles. think may have to go back to WEGO for large engadements however.
  21. "kindness of stangers" ... yes you are right there. (i should take this oppurtunity to say a BIG THANKS YOU to the prioviders of that site. Have allowed me to keep playing CM series for years and years without getting bored of it ... thanks sooooo much). so far i have only played very small set peice battles in CM:SF ... allows me to undersand the in and outs of game play. I love writting my own small missions ... but you kind if know whats going to happen the game works very very well indeed and REALTIME play i am finding ADICTIVE .... but only cos its small battles i can control. anyway, back to the main point, would be good to have somewhere to upload/download missions to give this game longgevity (if thats how you spell) scott
