If we went to war to steal oil then why the hell aren't we swimming in it? Try using some logic before throwing out these nonsensical statements. </font>

Sure you could care less, and they could care less about YOU I'm sure, but they are the ones that get rich and do their economic "empirebuilding" at the cost of Americas reputation in the world and the lives of your professional soldiers - I know it simplifies things, but sometimes the reasons for war can be simple - like Saddam having a rug with Bush seniors face on it in front of a hotel to humiliate the former president, his son in the oval office and a vice president who is in the pocket of one of the largest oil companies ......

Since trying out 1.05 I have to say it has become a really great game - a few days ago I wouldn't have toched it with a ten foot pole, but with 1.05 my pixel troops return fire !! And my AFVs almost always follow their paths !! I think I'm back in the fold .....

That's because CMx1 didn't have deceleration modeled, nor was the system all that strict with physics of speed/distance to alter course. So what you see in CMx2 is the direct result of simulating real life vehicle physics instead of having a rather major abstracted model as we had in CMx1. It's amazing how good pathfinding can be if it only pays attention to player's input and terrain without regard to the laws of circumstantial physics Steve </font>
