  1. Thanks, The scenario at B&T was a Warsaw Ghetto Scenario (1942). DavidI
  2. Falcon, Had no joy in going to Boots & Tracks. Is their website down? DavidI
  3. This graph represents 37% of the people. This graph here represents 74% of the people. And this graph represents 21% of the people. Telling figures indeed! DavidI
  4. Mikey, Beautiful! That goes on my hard drive tonight. Why does this always happen when I am at work? DavidI
  5. Modders, Really! I can't seem to do it myself, or I would do and post. David
  6. I need some maps for a short series of Warsaw Uprising Scenarios. Most of the ones I found were a) No scale shown, or on such a big scale as to be worthless. Post Office, Telephone Exchange, Power Plant, etc areas are prefered. DavidI
  7. Has anyone done any Warsaw Uprising 1944 scenarios? Could you point me the way? Putting finishing touches on a Polish Home Army mod and would like to see them in action. DavidI
  8. Lee, You were right! Works very well when vehicle is in "Move" mode. When I tried it in Fast the vehicle went all the way to it's destination, the troops unloaded and started to walk back to their unload point. So I shot some of them. Thanks, DavidI
  9. Junk, Are you suggesting that he is using the famous late 1943 "Duck Blind" pattern? Oh woe, and it looks so cool. David
  10. Andrew, I see that the high collar look for Russian Partisans is achieved by collars painted on the necks of the faces BMP's. Is this only used by Russian Partisans? Can I make them go away by modding the necks/faces and then make them reappear by backing up the collared faces? Is there something in the game that connects those faces with just Russian Partisans? Am I screwing with the very stuff of the cosmos if I tinker with this? The reason I ask is that I am modding the late war Russian Partisans into Polish Home Army for Warsaw scenarios. I may, if I still have your overall ok, release that on or about Christmas. I may have to include modded faces as part of that package.
  11. Panzer Ace, That looks bitchin! Looks like we got a new kid on the block! Where did you pick up that pattern? Tell me it's got some historical precedent, please. I love it but I don't want to use non-historical patterns in my game. DavidI
  12. LeeW, No ****? It really works? Never thought of that or read it in any previous threads. I'll be damned, can't wait to get home and try that one. DavidI
  13. Tooz, Are you aware that the vast majority of CMBB German Armor winter mods have the same BMP's as CMAK? That is exactly where I got all of mine. I concentrated on late model stuff for Bulge/Gothic line scenarios. Notable vehicles that are lacking are the Marders, their BMP #s don't match up. You would be safe with any Panthers, Pz IV G,H& J, Tiger Is, Stugs, etc. I recently made a disk for a friend of just Brit, American and German winterized vehicles and still have the zip folder. Send me an email with your address and I'll mail one off to you. Make sure you mention CM or Tooz in the header or I will assume that your email is yet another add for a penis enlarger (the nerve!) and I will delete it prior to reading. David I
  14. I know that when it first showed up the Germans didn't like it at all. Not at all. DavidI
  15. Guys, You're not counting on a VIOLENT reaction from the Germans in the event that we had a successfull invasion in the Rome area! What if the II SS Panzer Korps and 5 Infantry Divisions had been thrown in on top of what they already had? David I
  16. Tooz, I hear you loud and clear. My experiments with AFV's are primative at best. I could go for some winterized Marders for sure. What else are you looking for? Can I help? DavidI
  17. Tooz, Thanks, this modder, at least, lives on feedback. David
  18. Kingfish, Point taken on Sardinia. Quite frankly I think the eye was on taking Rome, the first Axis Capital to fall. As I recall Salerno was as far up the peninsula that the Airforces were willing to go with airfields in Sicily. Hence no invasion of Naples or Rome. David I
  19. Kingfish, The reason the Allies invaded at Salerno was that it was within Allied air range, especially with the new Sicilian bases. To invade Corsica and Sardinia would have put us at extreme air range and the Germans at optimum air range (ie our fighters can stay over the area for 5 minutes and theirs can stay for 30 minutes - kinda like Battle of Britain in reverse). DavidI
  20. CMAKers, Tired of seeing black wool Panzer sidecaps on your DAK crews? Tired of hearing your panzer crews bitch that the caps are too hot, too itchy, and too black? Well stop their bitching and issue them with faded, cotton, Tropical sidecaps today. Where? CMMODs of course. All original artwork is that of AndrewTF (the Great) . I mearly cut and paste. DavidI
  21. Pawter, But you can use an officer to direct indirect fire. On offense or defense set up and officer with a good line of sight. Park those Motar HT's as close as you can to the officer but out of direct line of sight. Behind a building or in a gully, behind trees, etc. They carry a butt load of ammo compared to the leg mortars. If on the other hand you have to move them out, they are pretty much useless unless you are real carefull with your line of sight as Throwdjohn suggests. DavidI
