CM Normandy will be out soon. Ran into a bit of a snag trying to upload it to the site, so I mailed it to the host (he lives in Switzerland and I live in California), so.... CM Normanday will be a complete terrain pack with all terrain, buildings, etc. geared to give the game a complete "Normandy" experiance. All without losing your original CMAK Italy look. So hang tight. DavidI

David I replied to MikeyD's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
Yippeee! I am home and downloaded! Beautiful work. I happen to be playing the Poles in "A Rock in the Flood" - Primary tank? - the Sherman III. You're the bomb MikeyD! DavidI [ August 03, 2005, 08:10 AM: Message edited by: David I ] -
Mangus 2000, Cpl.Steiner's got it right, you must make sure you patch goes into CMETO instead of CMAK. DavidI

Aaaaaarrrggghhhh! DavidI -
Nothing strikes the fear of God in a Space Lobster like the sight of a human in an armored bib clutching a claw cracker and one of those cute little forks. Unless of course it's the smell of melted butter and lemon. DavidI BTW - Great response General Colt!

Gurra's JpzIV's at Zimorodok's Rock! DavidI

Well boys, I'm getting real close. Keep in mind that this mod will be tailored for the battles in and around Normandy June through August 1944. It will not have any snow textures. Here's two scenes from the stock CMAK game: Here's two from CMETO: Here's some from CM Normandy: And a couple of different angles: As you can see, CMNormandy has a completely different feel to it. Available all in one place, all at one time, by this weekend with any luck. DavidI

***Mod Posted - 88 Flak with Camo***

Like I said, not my best. However I think it looks pretty good "in game". DavidI -
Any Interest in a CM Normandy Uber-Mod?
David I replied to David I's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
An update. I have contacted the artists involved and I am getting their OK's. Waiting for a couple more to come in before I post any screenies. DavidI -
Here's a German 88mm Flak Gun with MikeyD's excellent camo applied to it. It's not my best, to date, but it looks like this: I thought it really needed a workup. Where? At CMMODs of course. DavidI

just see if junk spots this:-]]]](***craters posted***)

Gautrek, I can dig it. I think the sand bag concept is great, but Junk is right, they need a little work. Go for it. DavidI -
What Junk said, and the CMAK side at CMMODS. Gurra's Panthers, Panzer IVs & SPW 251's (Patboy finished off the 251 series with the 9 & 16) including the Dirty winter. MikeyD's Panzer IVs and Shermans AndrewTF's SPW 250 series (he calls it Italian theater cammo, it beats the pants off of the stock). Dey's winterized anything. DavidI
-
Well, that's all of the series! Gurra's excellent dirty white camo as applied to the SPW 251/9 Stummel. And it looks like this: This one should work in CMBB with no modification. They look great on CMETO's (Tom CMCHQ's) light winter landscape. Enjoy. DavidI

David I replied to David I's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
Junk & Aragorn, The download links at CMHQ are defunct. Aragorn, if you are willing to send them to me I would appreciate it, although I must admit that I am a bit of a Ed Kinney fan. David -

Aragorn 2002, Thank you for your constructive comments. I am unfamiliar with Magua's mods, but I will look into them with the idea of including them. Ultimately I would like to have an uber-mod with little or no stock images in it. DavidI
