  1. No I don't know for sure that the GD formations wore those. Although I have seen pictures of Panzer Grenadiers other than the Lehr wearing them. And like Michael said, they look cool. The tunic is very similar to those worn by Stug crews, but were issued to PzGrenadiers, which units I can't say. I thought "A request for late war GD - this definately looks late war". DavidI PS. That is M. Dorosh's cuff title, love it. di
  2. Aragorn2002, What look are you looking for? Squads and crews in camo, Officers in field grey with cuff titles? (The cuff titles will show up on both arms however, due to shared bmps). Pz Crews in black with cuff titles? That sort of thing? DavidI PS. You know I could do it with latewar SS PzGrenadier bmp numbers, that way the cuff titles would look right. Either way you would need to back up your regular Heer or SS bmp numbers for when you want non-GD units. di [ November 28, 2005, 02:53 PM: Message edited by: David I ]
  3. In Resources above, go to CMBB weblinks, then to the GrossDeutchland site. They have a complete list of East Front Uniform BMPs. The Germans are about 99% the same of CMAK, drop me an email for some of the numbers that are not the same. Pz Grenadier legs seam to come to mind. For winter uniforms add 50000 to the number shown (ie. 9513 becomes 59513). DavidI
  4. I can barely see my keyboard, my eyes are misted with tears. Soooo beautiful. DavidI
  5. Richie, My point exactly. With Christmas coming up and all.... DavidI
  6. Jason, Excellent idea! Wish they had been around when I first started. DavidI
  7. Deathsai, Tsk. Tsk. It's worth every moment of downloading. DavidI
  8. Navy, Should look like this: and Now I just used MS Paint to do this, so the circles look more like stop signs, and I chose 3rd Kompanie, 1st Abtielung, HG Panzer Regt. because it was easier to draw. Remember for a Panther in the HG it would be companies 1 through 4. The clock arm should go from center of cirle to outer edge, for some reason the front picture does not show that, although it looks just fine in game. Hope this helps. DavidI
  9. Navy, Keep churning them out. Ahem... your Herman Goering Pz. Division insigna is a little off. You apparently have a Luft eagle over a red diamond with a white circle which would designate a HG Korps unit, indeed, with the eagle, a HG Korps Staff unit. The Korps wasn't established until Late Oct. 1944 in Poland. The proper insigna for the HG Division, specifically the HG Pz Regiment would be a white circle with a black hour hand pointing to the company number. Since the battalion with the Panthers was the 1st Battalion, the clock could be shown pointing to 1, 2, 3 or 4 o'clock possitions. See Panzer Colors III, pages 76 and 77 for a complete markings Sheet for the HG Regiment, then Brigade, then Division and finally Korps. DavidI
  10. RNL Tiger, Yep. Kind of short answer, but you're right on the money. Play Italian scenarios in Italy, and the rest of the non-Africa scenarios in ETO. If you really want to go nuts, get CMNormandy and do all pre-Sept. 44 scenarios in that. DavidI
  11. GreenAsJade, At CMMODs. Someone saved all the Scenarios from the Depot and there are a ton of scenarios there. There is also a spread sheet that describes each scenario. Using that I was able to divide the scenarios up between CMAK/CMETO/CMNormandy. As I recall there are a bunch of HSG scenarios there. DavidI
  12. Mikey, I understand completely. If I see one more German halftrack I'll puke. DavidI
  13. Wow! That thing looks like you could get in it and drive it away. Camo? DavidI
  14. Noted. I will keep that in mind for future projects. I look forward to your pics. DavidI
  15. Melnibone, Thanks. Normandy's pretty cool to. DavidI
  16. Philippe, Your right about units having the same camo pattern. As to the V shape vs vertical, can you post a screen shot? David
  17. Yskonyn, I'll hoist a cold vodka in celebration. DavidI
  18. Patboy, Thats what I did. How does it look on your screen? David
  19. SPW 251 Series Late War This is the SPW 251 Series done with MikeyD's excellent camo and AndrewTF's (The Great and Powerful) excellent mod. Best of both worlds. They look like this: Apparently under the "great minds think alike" theory, both Uncle Tgt and I put out the 251 series on the same weekend. What to do? Upload mine, and download his, of course. Where? Where else - CMMODs, silly. Enjoy, DavidI
  20. SPW 250/1/7/8/9 & 10 Late War. Done with MikeyD's excellent camo on AndrewTF's excellent mod. They are the best of both worlds. There is a anomoly on the SPW 250/8 Gun Shield - I don't like it, but after many hours of f....g with it I gave up. Please forgive. Oh yeah, they look like this: At CMMODS of course. Enjoy DavidI
