No You cannot import or modify units in the 3 CM games. You can only subsitute. i.e. use Panthers to simulate T34s in CMBO. Check out the CMBO mods Combat Mission World available at cmmods for use with CMMOS.

Thanks to all the posting here I have picked up a couple of PBEM opponents. We are having some fun Every game gives me a reason to go to cmmods in search of new mods.

Just in case, the USA uniform date change from tan to green is different in AK than BO. I don't remember at the moment what month. Andrew's CMAK German ETO uniforms are for June 44 on. Use the search feature at cmmods to find the guns etc that you need.

Thanks Gurra, I got them all. I think they have some wood in Finland too? Who knows what theatre I will use these mods in. I spent hours making a thatch roof for Korea then found the CMBB roof bmp. I can always use more mods.

Rob, I sure would appreciate some CMMOS 4.05 mods for CMAK and I think other people would too.

At cmmods in CMBB Nightcrawler's is under Astrocat, NC CMBB Sound Mod Under Captain Wacky is his sound mod which I found to be quite good. It comes with a mpeg to wav converter program.

Back in the day, cmmods crashed and all was lost. Astrocat is a CM player who devoted his time to uploading as many mods as he could find to the new cmmods server. You may find Andrew's mods uploaded by Astrocat. And we thank them both

Andrew Fox's uniform mods usually contain option zips within the zip. i.e. in his German winter uniforms you will find white, splinter, anorak, etc.

Kingfish, I appreciate people of your caliber making scenarios for BO. I don't play CW much. It does amaze me how far map/scenario design has come since the beginning of BO. Most of the older maps tend to be boardgame flat. As the craft has matured, I hope we see new scenarios from time to time, better than before. Maybe some remakes should be done with better maps?

I don't know why Aris is being modest about his new mods of Shermans, Stuarts, and Priest. I got 'em and like 'em. Check out the floor of the Priest. Impatiently waiting for the III late.

aragorn, I believe someone is working on a Magua mod for CMAK. sly and all, I find the lack of BB AK things like cover arcs, advance, assault, etc to be a good thing. Makes the game easier and faster to play. EM those shock waves are nice. Especially big arty. I just finished a PBEM where my opponent had 240. Big explosions.

Not many posts in this forum any more. I find CMBO is still fun to play. Not as challenging as it's brothers. Calculates fast on slower computers. Looks better and better with new mods. I renumbered Andrew's BB and AK uniforms to BO and what a difference. The Polygons are not up to newer standards but neither is BB and AK. Thank you to the people still making mods, mod conversions, and scenarios for CMBO.
