  1. Andrew's mid war are tan and late war are green. Excellent as always but out of the box new looking. I converted his old CMBO mod to CMAK for late war and it is at cmmods. WindyCity made a helmet with netting recently IIRC.
  2. Email sent. It is in the Scenario Depot Salvage zips at cmmods. You should get them.
  3. It would be preferable for the original designer to upload his own work. That way you could search by designer.
  4. Yes you can create your own maps. Some very good ones were done for Tarawa etc., in CMBO and have been converted to CMAK. The tan early uniforms would be a bit of work for only a couple of battles. You could renumber the torso bmps from the tan mid war USA and use tan legs from the Soviets in CMBB. Get your feet wet a little with the games before you try to make maps and battles.
  5. FYI you can't make CMAK into PTO, you have to fake it with Italian and German troops and AFVs. My mods only change the visuals to look like Japanese and USMC units. "Hans" has made many PTO battles and ops. Look for them in the cmmods Scenario Depot Salvage zips or wait for them to be uploaded to TSDII. There is also a PTO mod for CMBO. I have no problem with CMBO and XP or Nvidia.
  6. I'm not having good luck as Allies. My guys are spooked in the dark tripping over mines and taking MG fire. Guess it aint over till it's over.
  7. Thanks for the link, I had forgotten that gem. ISTR he had bought CMAK and I was hoping for some new stuff.
  8. Do you have a favourite one so far? Some of the knowledgable people here also hang out at the Axis History Forums. You might post your Peiper question there.
  9. I didn't play board wargames all my life. I like historical battles and the briefings should teach me what I'm fighting for. I don't like buying my force, setting it up, spending time with recon and travel. I like short operations. Panther Commander's HSG First Town Liberated for CMAK is a good example of an operation that combines attack, defend, counterattack, defend. Oversized map, good force mix, challenging.
  10. Juju did one of each type. MikeyD did a red brick church.
  11. If you want to see some rubble this thread has some shots. The next to last post by Carl has a link to his site with shots of a block leveling bomb.
  12. Welcome to the addiction. Have you done any modding yet? Juju's craters and explosions would be a good start.
  13. In CMAK it goes fast before it blows up. At Folke's CMAKdb you can compare the different Brit tanks stats side by side and read some good descriptions.
  14. How about Steve or someone on the inside of BFC creating a scenario for WSPMBT with the units and timeframe of CMSF?
  15. I'm playing the op Tank Warning and noticed these RPGs for the first time in two years. My first try was at the back door of a wooden MG PB from 12m. One shot, one kill.
  16. Compared to boardgames and IGOUGO turn based games WSPMBT does a pretty good job. It is just a game, not a simulator. Wild Bill has done some good scenarios for Korea and Vietnam that I can't seem to duplicate with the current CMs. Gives me something to do while waiting for PBEM turns.
  17. GTV, anytime you need a map converted, just let me know. I do it for Mac people all the time.
  18. Go to Folke's CMBBdb or CMAKdb and there will be very good descriptions of each type. Click on the infantry type.
  19. Just started vs Jim1954. Any chance your mod team could make buttons for the PBEM screen to match the main screen buttons?
  20. Thanks for thinking of me. I hadn't seen that one. Good stuff.
  21. I installed your pine mod. Looks great. I am using Ed's CMBB bunker mod and it doesn't match your sandbag mod. I'll have to look for another bunker. Which one are you using? I suggest you make a rubble mod. I am using MikeyD's for CMAK. It is very good but a match to your other mods would be even better.
  22. I had a chance to load the tree stump mod and concrete sandbag mod. Looks very good. The battle is in fog and low light (dawn). With all the hills, trees and fog, zooming around at level one is very eerie.
