Hi there, when you are at it, I just recently upgraded to a 8800 GTS 512 OC card and installed the latest 196.21 WHQL driver, which seems to perform very good generally for me in my games. However, this particular driver comes with AA modes from 2 to 16 and NONE of them seem to work with the CMx1 games, that as in not applying any antialiasing, regardless of which setting I choose. Do you think it might be a driver issue, or perhaps because of lack of support for these relatively new graphics cards?

Okay, I think I´ve got it: I´m using the direct hotkey method, and have altered the hotkey.txt after my own preferences. One line says..." NOT CURRENTLY USED... Do not assign a key to this function! It will eventually be the hotkey for Clear Target, but not yet properly activated I thought that to be an old comment, not relevant for 1.06, so I mapped J there and nothing happened. Clear target does work if I click on the command panel button. So, there´s no big problem. Just have to wait for BFC to acticate a hotkey slot. Thank you for your help, anyway!

I can´t figure out how to do this. Clear target won´t work, neither do halt. I guess it´s a ridiculously simple solution, but it escapes me... Regards Gurra

Immersion factor=WOW Love it, despite the initial problems. This will be something enormously good soon and in the future. I have been totally uninterested i modern warfare, this game changes it. I´m so extremely grateful that there is a games developer that think the way BFC does. I recognize the the work of crafters that actually care about the result and their customers. It feels a bit sad that some people whine and goes on about things that will always be a question of personal taste. I think a little bit more humility could be apropriate, perhaps.¨ Regards Gurra

Same here, crashes when loading training mission 3 after previous autosave. Doesn´t seem to be a problem otherwise. Have played some scenarios without problems. Was thinking about possible heat problem, but GPU showed 63 degrees Celcius after a good go, so that shouldn´t be it. Intel P4 2.8 ^2.95 1 Gig RAM Geforce 6600GT 256mb (slightly OC:ed) Win XP Pro SP2

Yes, I must also take place among the bowers: exactly what I have been waiting for. At last, no more Company Of Heroes, no more TOW,no more half hearted game sessions. Now it´s all serious, been playing two scenarios and really love it. Hat off!

Thanks for your opinions, good aspects in all of them. Well, I still haven´t decided... about the scenarios in the campaign, I appreciated the command & control demo scenario the most (number four I think)- interesting small tactics, then a bit of a change when you to defend for yourself and you get to use some AT guns and in the end possess a single tank. It seems as though the game functions better with small engagements. It´s of course easier to control fewer units, less performance probs and so on, but on to the question: do the campaigns contain these kind of situations or is it more common with large battles where you really have to struggle with camera, lots of units and demo scenario number two difficulties? Hi guys! I have plodded on with the demo some time now, and feel indecisive. Except from the difficulty in getting to grips with the camera (why is it so not tight, more like a fat little boat on water that you´re trying to steer) and a awkwardness in general (knowing the cm games in and out), still there is something in this game that keeps me coming back. I quit after a session with lame impressions, but after a few hours I feel like trying again. So, in short, the demo hasn´t convinced me. The question is: will the full version do that? Are the scenarios getting better in the campaigns? Also, the sound in the game, even with EAX, isn´t top notch? Some guns sounds whimpy. Only me, or do everybody think so? Is the pdf-manual the same for both demo and full version? I can´t find some things, that should be there, like better explanation of controls. (Hope I haven´t just missed those parts. In that case I apologize.) I would like to like this game and own it, but I don´t know if will be able to. Anybody who recognizes the feeling and could share his viewpoint? Best Regards Gurra

MikeyD, humble as per usual... I,m glad you did overwrite my Panthers, I took a look at them the other day, and now I feel that they´re too worn. I will try to hit just the right amount of effects for your puppies. Your artwork is otherwise absolutely wonderful, just needs some dust and dirt to be perfect, in my opinion.

BMP 11240. The bmp is nearly original, except for a slight recoloring. I use the BFC version of the game, that´s why there are SS runes. Glad you liked the mod otherwise! Best regards Gurra

For all of you that have downloaded my Eastern Front Interface conversion BEFORE 12:30 pm 18/2, please download again and reinstall. Junk2Drive made me notice that I had forgot to alter the small arms icons, which basically means that you have russians with Rifle Garand and other US stuff. It´s all fixed now, though. I have updated the file at cmmods. Don´t look for a V2 or anything though, it doesn´t show. Sorry! Best regards Gurra
