On the contrary, Moon, I really didn't like most of the scenarios that CMBB and CMAK shipped with; I did, however, like the ones that the community came up with, and I had a ball making scenarios - and especially maps - of my own. If I were stuck playing CM with only the maps that shipped on the disc, I wouldn't have bought multiple copies of both CMBB and CMAK.
I don't mean to sway anyone else's thinking - I just don't see myself buying a game with such little flexibility. I don't think it means the game and I are somehow unsuited for each other beyond that. But in and of itself, for me, personally, it is a deal breaker.
I was looking at the download version of Close Combat: Cross of Iron yesterday. I just about purchased it and then thought that even with dozens of maps loaded into it, if I couldn't make my own, I simply wasn't interested.
I'll try the demo for TOW but I think I'll save my strength, money and time for CM:C and CM:SF when they come out as they promise to be much more flexible. </font>
