  1. If playing all 18 in order... use the Score Sheet on Page 12 of the Rule Book... This is in date/time sequence... That is all... -FR
  2. It would be nice to put all the scenarios created placed at SDII, but if the author is unavailable maybe you can put them under 'See Description' and have someone research the info to put the authors name in the Comments field... (btw I would be willing to help with that if need be)... This should not be a big issue as the authors stuff is posted.... as a designer though I have seen some interesting things at some other sites... where I have had a scenario posted that is mine, with a link to the wrong place and the wrong file... and thus...... (you know the rest).... I believe that GJK has stepped up and provided us with a great tool for distributing scenarios... much like he did for all us designers with The Proving Grounds ... Its true, that this will be the place to be for scenarios.... All that I ask for.... is there a way you can provide the designer to provide a link to the scenario file rather then uploading, as so, when making changes, (or maybe this shouldnt happen... since 'said' scenario should be done) , one does not have to place 'said' scenario file to multiple locations...(just thinkin out loud)... as I am not to sure with what to do with scenarios from 'Sie Kommen', 'Red Beard 1189', and the 'Sweet Lorraine' battle packs.... Thanks GJK... whatever my ignorance may tell me about you ... as always UDAMAN !!! That is all...
  3. You should both get together and make a great battle pack...!!!! That is all...
  4. Hey GaJ in two posted battles at the 'Blitz' we have one allied and one axis 'minor victory' also in the The Blitz vs FGM (See Tourney Status Sheet) we have an Axis 'major victory'... I also looked back at the playtesting posts at the forum and discoverd that the Axis had 2 minors to a tactical and a draw for the allies... So I would say it is pretty much balanced... but it is like the weather... every battle plays different... ***** Spoilers ***** * * * * * * * * The Axis has 807 pts to the Allies 1120, when creating this I believed if the allies worked the group of AB troops in the west up around the north and attacked the two bridges from there...while taking units from the southern DZ and moving along the canal and hitting the bridge from the SW, they should be able to win as once they break into the german 'backfield' that area has little resistance..... splitting allied units into smaller groups then two main forces wouldnt work IMHO and thus the germans can achieve a victory... also an adequite use of the axis forces in the SE towards the town of Le Pont De Ardres is critical to the Axis doing well... with 18(+) turns, quick and decisive responses are required by both sides... Thanks for playing and thanks for the feed back.. That is all...
  5. Mies... Thank you so much for the feedback and I understand about another 'login' ... I have sent the designer of that scenario an email... to look here... he is away on holiday till the new year... Again thanks and glad you are enjoying it... That is all... -FR
  6. Nope... nuthin here either  That is all...
  7. Just checked it off the website and it works... that is the right location... I uploaded the file again to the webserver... sorry for any hassles... That is all... -FR
  8. Should be a link in the PDF file right under date/time that says Radio Dispatch... then it will open a flash script with the sound byte... Hope this helps That is all... -FR
  9. Hi GaJ ... two things... first in 'Bridges for the 82nd' yes it is weighted toward the Allies... and also besides medals...you have to award the allied player 'x' points from table 4, (iirc you are playing the 5 battle plan)... so remember that... On the McMMM thing, yes I could use some help... give me a day to put all I have together and I will send you an email on what's going on... Thanks for all your input... That is all... -Fredrocker
  10. Hey Larry Thorne how are you... You still post in these forums... I thought you were out hunting Capital Ships in the North Atlantic... Did you have a successful 'hunt'... How is your flotilla... dem boyz of yours drinking schanpps... Send me a setup... your choice... And I too am glad y'all are enjoying the battle pack... Minor Changes to Field Orders, Briefings, etc.. from early feedback... are to be put up on the website in the next few days... Also still working on the 'Mod Set' options for McMMM.... but it seems to be very "disk://path" dependent and driving me 'bonkers' Keep your eye open for news on "Red Beard 1189" another battle pack!!! but this time for CMBB, based upon Army Group's North and Center Blitzkrieg into the Soviet Union's Baltic and Western Military Districts.... That is all... -Fredrocker
  11. Yea, you can check out my CM site... I am in the process of redoing it... it does have a lot of scenarios I never posted at the original Depot... most of my stuff is fictional and suited for my taste... but what the hell... you might like it.... sorry the 'intel' and the 'screenies' arent all working yet (or changing daily)... and turn down the sound... lunitics like me seem to find it soothing... but apparently no one else does... its come down to a shameless plug... stunad me!!! That is all... -FR
  12. RockinHarry depending on the battles there are commander maps for the Axis... also radio communique too... The allies are the only ones with Air Recon Photos IIRC... Hope you find an opponent... check the Sie Kommen forum as I believe a few people were looking for opponents... also maybe the Strategy Zone CM forum... that is all... -FR
  13. Now why would i wanna use the correct word.. Heck blame it on the spell checker, and I guess thats the name of the battle...I was going to use German names for the battles but I wasnt good wit da umlats, cedilla, underhooks, graves, etc... In case you didnt know I went to da evaland woodhead sped reeding course!!! but on a serious note... Thanks for the feedback... I am not sure how many places that title turns up, which will be the basis of it is changed... That is all... -FR
  14. On a Playtest at Hell at Waldam Beach a Sie Kommen battle, I saw 8 inch arty kill 1 AFV's, 2 bunkers, 1 pillbox, and about 45 Infantry casuatlies... and that was with a salvo (8 rds) .... and also at a thread I had a The Proving Grounds it was explained that in a scenario discussion that a spotter (off map, 122mm, with only nine rds) could do nuthing... and after 3 min... he took out 3 AFV's (including a T-34).... you gotta love it... That is all -FR
  15. Well it was known the Germans always thought the landings would most likely come at Pas de Calais..Thus the strong fortifications in that area... example The Bunkers at Waldam and then The Sie Kommen Bunker... so it was a nice fit with the 'What If' concept... also the movie 'The Longest Day' which I have been watchin since I was a kid probably influenced me somehow... I hope you enjoy playing it... That is all... -Fredrocker
  16. BCGOVT Send me an E-mail at fredrocker@fredrock-racing.com and put Sie Kommen in the subject line and I will try to walk you through it with some instructions... wont be till tomorrow though... as a tornado warning is on da map here in 15 min... That is all... Fredrocker
  17. I hope they arent gone for good, they make some of the best stuff... When I started CMing it was the place to go for great stuff... That is all... -FR
  18. Thanks Vossiewulf, the master of my favortie Panther Mod.... .... The credit does go to all the fine designers and playtester and the people who helped in the background (some who tried to edit my dysfunctional spelling, typing and english on a daily basis).... I am sure they truly appreciated it, even if they are just lurking and watching  .... Keep up the great mod work my friend and I am glad you are back on the scene... you been missed... That is all... -Fredrocker
  19. OUCH! at 12500 pts to 4700 or so you should have done better then that in Hell at Waldam Beach... Did you take heed to the Arty Intructions... (SMOKE)... if you get a chance could you drop a line at the Sie Kommen Forum (scenario discussion area) and let me know how you used all that big arty... And remember with the 18 games you have a chance to come back... Glad you are liking it... thank you for playing and also thanx for the feedback.... That is all.. -Fredrocker
  20. Hopefully by next weekend sir.... Been swamped the past few days... That is all... -FR
  21. Hey GaJ ... to answer your question... yes... Some battles are pro allied, some pro axis, and some are as even as we can make them... and all that is based upon the overall scheme of things within the battle pack (and is reflected in the Points-Victory Schedule). Also items like the Field Orders on certain battles, can give a unit commander some insight (if used properly) to assist in his completion of his mission (and this works for both sides) example... "Hell at Waldam Beach" is the main landings for the battle pack... Now the allies have a slight advantage (if you use arty properly - or else who knows)... but if the allies lose this battle (say in a 12 game version)... they will end up playing in some battles that were weighted for the axis... another words, the landings went bad so even if the 82nd AB has taken the three bridges, they wont get relief from the beachhead and therefore must fight off an axis counter-attack without support (which would be weighted pro-axis, such as "To Blow or Not to Blow")... Though about 50% of the scenarios are weighted one way or another, I would not say any are 'walk-overs' or 'completely one sided'... In playtests we have determined (at least in two player mode) that either side could win all the scenarios... As for 'Allied vs AI' there are about 4 scenarios where the AI is questionable in its performance (those with main axis offensive efforts)... but there is a 'experience bonus' table that was tested to make the games vs the AI as best they can be... As far as 'Axis vs AI' this option wasnt really persued as there are about 12 out of the 18 battles where the Axis is solely on defense (Though one day I might go through and playtest it this way... and maybe make some modifications to the battles, VL placement, etc. so that an Axis vs AI version could be played... but that is beyond the scope of my limited and martini fried brain at this point...) Another way that might help... There are a total of 123,688 total points (units) for both sides within the battle pack. with the allies having 57% of them... If one looks at Table 11 in the Rule Book on page 8, and compares the 'Major Victory' Pts Totals for each side, those within say 25% of each other are even battles (ex: 'Bloody St. Omer Cappelle" allies =8, axis=10). Hope this sums up your question... and thank you for your interest, I hope you enjoy  That is all... -Fredrocker
  22. Fix Da link please... Good looking stuff!!! That is all... -FR
  23. Hey NG cavscout... Thank you for the compliment... I wish you luck on your 'mission'... dont forget there is a whole forum for the battle pack if you would like to leave feedback, comments, etc... its located Right Here ... There will be threads setup for each scenario... and Again Thanks That is all... -Fredrocker
  24. In the rule book it basically says if you have ETO installed you can most likely get away with just the Custom Mods for Sie Kommen... The main mods for Sie Kommen are probably 85% David I's Nomandy Mods with extra's like uniforms, sandbags, and other slight or addition changes. Vehicle Mods - well you know what you got loaded... I just tried to collect all the Vehicle Mods for the timeframe/location and put them into one spot... The custom mods you should use for the 4 battles identified by .zip title as they include info for beaches, bunkers, etc. Hope this helps.. That is all... -FR
