  1. Good greif, this is superb! Downloading when I get home. Once again, excellent splash & GUI Gurra
  2. Your passion and talent is amazing MikeyD. A heart felt thanks for ALL your hard work
  3. The first thing I did after installing BB/AK/BO was to burn to CD the original bmp folder (splits over two CD's). Then every couple of months burn the active (modded) bmp folder for backup as well. Any Fubars and I'll pull the original bmp back, and I have my collection of mods on CD. Failsafe
  4. I'm enjoying these training senarios immensely JC. With the 3 100 series I had my 34's un-bottoned, armour arc's with plts hunting in packs (close formations). Shoot & Scoot (Q) key commands when contact was made. I was surprised that the Pz III's abandoned so readily rather than getting KO'ed, there was alot of ricocheting exchange fire until I worked around to the flanks. These gems will keep me going throu Xmas. Thanks to the Hosts as well, Cheers
  5. Yeah well don't pound to hard, we need you. great Cat mikeyD
  6. Dowding, Air Chief Marshall Sir Hugh. If anyone changed the course of modern History by a single Individual Dowding must be up there. Organising the air umbrella over Dunkirk with the RN so 330,000 evacuated Troops would fight another day - Middle East/FarEast (big dumb ar$ed blunder there for Hitler/Goering). With Park during BoB, a real stategist, realising the Royal Air Force had to only survive not win it...and got no thanks for any of it. Failing there, Hitler looked East. ...come to think of it no other Air Marshall 'won' an air campaign, not even Spatz or Harris.. ..and yep, I'm a fanbois of WoV's BoB2, got to love the Spit 1a
  7. They have been done, quiet a few too. my prefered Cromwells/Comet were modded by Andrew Fox, his Cromwell comes in two schemes with Three Armd Div markings ~11th, Gds, and Polish, you will find them at the CMMODS.
  8. Sven Hassel's 'Wheels of Terror' did it for me, set the trigger to find out more... Was a young impressionable school kid then, first book about the Russian Front I had ever read... Played 'Yelnya Stare' on the BB demo, found out Hassel wasn't all Bull$hite afterall
  9. Great work Pat!! I'm befuddled by the extra '1' in front of the original bmp No's. I don't use a mod manager so I'll just delete it to: 18480 etc..? Good blend of the tritone camo there
  10. Good greif don't stop, especially like you DAK guns zip, I've got all your mods. keep going
  11. Yes!, another great mod, this is a cool M8, gritty and dusty with all the extras, thanks
  12. Max Hastings-Overlord well, anything by Hastings'.. Charles Whiting ETO books are a good read, not too heavy but interesting, though I don't know how acurate his stuff is, he seems obsessed with the 'Bulge', has a few on the subject..
  13. Cheers MikeyD, Especially like the Grey panzers, and the 'little' things to detail like the curve of the extra track on the bow
  14. Gad man! you just put 3D cartography/CAD back 50 years... what drugs you on?
  15. The Camoflage scheme is bloody effective in the brush, breaks up the profile damn well (gerry keeps missing
  16. Thankyou Soo much MikeyD, My Kiwi (virtual) tankers will be so grateful after I slap some 9th Arm Bde tac signs on them
  17. OT -By Sir 37mm 'NEVER try the ‘whack a mole’ tactics.' A momentary lapse of reason here. We don't have Moles in Oz (4 legged), can some kind soul enlighten the bleeding obvious to moi.
  18. ..mmm..Brit MkV's, Firefly...Thankyou very much. outstanding work MikeyD...as always.
  19. Crest a Hill in armour? ONLY if I got good intell on the other side from my Inf screen. Any othertime hilltops usually get swept clean by some unseen ba$tard ATG or BIG gunned armour lurking in the wings.. My armour usually follows the lower depressions. (flow like a river) is the old saying If I recall... Great to sneak a Spotter/marksman into some cover if it exists though. And as said previous keep them unbuttoned whenever possible.
