Sherman's have a problem?? Hell, I just lost 3 PzIVH's (hunt)to 2 of them in a firefight, thought it would be a walk in the park... There has to be a some random - 'fuzzy logic'involved or just put it down to dumbarse bad luck. Bah!

J2d, I've already done it, a plain Brit green MkIII/V for BO, (same dark Drab as my Fireflys), just haven't gotten round to uploading to CMMODS yet- I'm in the middle of Emar's 'Blut & Ehre' Op BO, up till' past midnight each damn evening... Whatever MikeyD can mod, I can pinch for BO ...will upload tonight

Rather a cheeky heading..lol I really don't know to what extent how or what gamey is or means. Correct tactics does produce killer results, errors will get you hammered. I certainly don't look down on BO when comparing to BB or AK. I know BO is more 'black and white' with results (gamey?) yes, but for me these are all still PC games to while away the evening with. I find what has kept this series alive for so long is the talent that has gone into mods and more so the out pouring of senario design, gawd, the dedication to get it right is astonishing. Depending on my mood and current focus of interest you'll find me in Russia one week, perhaps Lybia or Normandy the next...

FireFly Zip has been updated, the missing bmp now included (3293.bmp - IIa turret roof). apologies for the runaround...

I had read a looong time ago that the 'circled' star was an early request by the Brits, claiming the war against Germany was an 'Allied' assault, hence the combining of the British roundel with the US Star. This novelty may have worn off as the war progressed.. Another urban myth maybe?, but it sounded plausable at the time,,,

*cough cough* this CMBO Anonymous? I still have it on the HD, love it's 'querkyness'- sudden death armour exchanges, infantry still manage to move against long range Mg fire, the Ohh so violent arty, (the real killers). I admit DL'ing Mike8g's latest conversions, along with Vincent's latest splash, bloody marvelous stuff. I've completely gutted the original bmps, modded MikeyD's farm and barn, the terrain looks damn good against BB and AK. Its amazing just how much stuff can be ported back from its later sisters, and the bmp folder is only 250MB! for backing up to CD. I still think the mods done for BO are are some of the best you can find on the CM series, especially the Allied armour. ..so yup, I still play BO
