Hi Canton, I downloaded the files and extracted the folder into my campaign directory of strategic command 2. I looked at the folder and everything looks fine. However, when I start the game It doesnt show up on the list. I am only using sc2, did I miss something? Thanks

I have CMBB and I am using Vista. The game works fine and I just downloaded the map packs of phillipe from the cmbb scenario depot. Wow, what a large number of scenarios, its like a new game. My question is this, I know how to download the files and then when I try to extract the scenarios it creates another folder within the scenarios folder in cmbb. What is the easiest way to move,copy the unzipped scenarios into the folder so I doesnt create another folder. I did open two windows to move over into the scenario folder. thanks

I was able to ge tthe game to work when I looked through my paperwork and found the elicense receipt. The problem I had was moving to a new machine and the install process. When placing in a new machine it asked using the original Battlefront disk for the elicense. Just have to keep these papers more handy

I have the original cd from battlefront and I just moved to a new machine. Installed the 1.0 CMSF, installed the 1.10 patch and then the 1.21 patch and now its asking me for a elicense and I bought the game directly from battlefront and I don't remember if I have a elicense? I don't think I need one? Any help is appreciated thanks

I am getting a new computer with Vista but I have all the old games like cmbb, cmbo, and cmak. I was wondering if I can just install them and play. I know windows xp had the ability to play games in different version of windows. thanks

Has anyone developed a entry for SC2 for the PBEM helper program? I know they have the infor for SC1 but not sure how to modify to fit this game

Anyone want to try a SC2 email game? I am new to the game and have the latest version but no expansion packs. PM me and I'll check back later and we can start. I can probably play more than one turn a day (approx). Hope to hear from you

Viperion Two things 1. Does the mouse work well with other Battlefront games like cmbo or cmak? 2. the othe thing you could try is to uninstall the game and install to version 1.0 and start up the game and see if you have the same problem, if not, install the next patch and start up the game again and see if the problem exists. I would try this right up until patch 1.03 and if you find the problem it could be a patch problem. Otherwise, someone else might have some info on this, just a thought mouse update?

yeah, i like that concept of starting a game and finding servers of people who want to play, similar to the battlefield games, Hi kilo we never got around to an online game, we'll do that one of these days

I also asked for help on the pbem helper program recently and I am sure that you could probably place the program CMSF into the program through the manual situation. I use Thunderbird from the Firefox program and it was easy to set up. I also received a great manual for PBEM through the email and if anyone wants a copy, let me know and I could send you it. Has good screens, the pbem helper program is great but its 3 yrs old or something like that, like Moon said they are updating it, i'll pm and we can try a game with the program?

The more I play this game the more I learn and I bought the game the first time it was released since I was a regular with the Steel Panther series from SPWAW 1, modern etc and even SP 3. I rarely look at the screen with regard to the ins and outs but sometimes I have to look if its a weapon or vehicle I rarely use. What I am learning about more and more and realizing especially against email opponents is the importance of experienced troops and keeping your units together. Furthermore, I find the German troops fire faster especially the vehicle gun reloading, make s abig difference in some battles. Then when you play CMAK more units to read about. I have almost every game out there and I am still playing this one all the time, its simple, precise and what every wargame should have, great email program and the thing I would like to see in the future would be a server area similar to Theatre of war where you could get on and play, plus an in-game talk similar to Battlefield 2 (voip)but that will all be in the future, great game and the guys above always provide some great help

Well, I finally downloaded this program and I have tried it out a few times with some opponents. It looks like a convenient method to keep all your games located in one spot. I had a few email games going on with cmbb and cmak. However, being new to the program I was wondering if when someone sends me a file will it show up with this program and/or will it still show an attachment in my email program? It seems that I like to open my email to see if I have any game turns. I was curious of what other people do who use this program. I couldnt find much infor from the webpage for me to use. Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to use this program and if its worth it? It needs some new programs on the list even though you can make your own. thanks huhr Another question, when someone sends me a file and I get it through my regular email account it seems that its not showing up right away in the pbem helper program. hi Hubert, I looked in my game folder and in the folder called campaigns. it includes the folder 1939 world historical along with the other folders included in the game. I extracted the zip file into the campaign folder.
