  1. Actually, I was surprised at how much the new COMBAT MISSION CAMPAIGNS looked like Hubert's SC2 designs....
  2. No problem with that, but I thought I would ask since you have introduced this option on some releases. I thought the Drill instructions might have changed....
  3. Well if the release date is so soon, will SC2 be available through Digital Download?
  4. Dammit, you're getting soft man. Pathetic to see you bully the non competitors and then back out. Either you smack or you don't. "Should I stay or should I go" / The Clash </font>
  5. I have nothing against the tournies and in fact enjoy reading the AARs, especially when they were filled with petty accusations of cheating and name calling...It makes for an amusing read!
  6. Offering the ability to toggle between isometric and top down view, such as in TalonSoft's Campaign series, would have been ideal, but I would think that if it was not part of the original design, it would be too time consuming to develop for a patch...It would be good news if I'm wrong though...
  7. Hey Fubarno, thanks for the link....I have been looking for some decently priced saute pans on the net, and this site does the trick...not your intent I know, but a service none the less...
  8. Great post JJ but I do differ from your viewpoint in one regard...I have no sympathy for anyone who critiques the beta test system and those who participate...this forum for too long has had an hiearchal arrogance among those who consider themselves elite, because they won this tourney or that, and it is old. Good luck to Bill, Dave and the rest, and will be looking forward to this release!
  9. I'll reserve judgement about the game until we at least see the promised AAR...right now this forum is nothing but a wishlist fest!
  10. Poor choice of words on my part, but it is good to see that there might be some possibilities for the AI in user created scenarios........
  11. Bill, is it strictly 2 player or were you able to develop an AI?
  12. A CM Wheel of Time game would probably be developed and released before that turd spawned hack Jordan even finishes the series!
  13. To add to the above, I am still curious how the AI is implemented in newly created campaign games.
  14. Ahhh....I was wondering why I had to side scroll. I was expecting to see an extremely large pic!
  15. I can envision Blashy sitting in front of his monitor, muttering: "Why did I ever start this f***king thread!"
  16. Well now, if you need people to lend a hand, I'm sure there are one or two people around here who might consider helping... But, all kidding aside, it would be nice if this can be a December release...
  17. ....while the rest of us get the game July 31, 2006.....
  18. Actually, the thought of mapping out, and then layering a 512x512 map, tile by tile, makes me ill....
  19. Bill...that's what you get for not keeping your answer limited to my question....
  20. I was curious regarding the smallest map size which could be used to create a working scenario...These "pocket games" so to speak (remember The Creature That Ate Sheboygen?) would be a good way to learn how to use the editor before diving into some of the grander ideas that players are planning to create.
