  1. That sucks, Herr Oberst. Must be very, very frustrating. I hope there's a way to recover your map. I have several copies of all CM games on my pc and made one of my basic CMRT before installing FR on top of it, removed all my mods and didn't loose anything.
  2. It would be nice to have an overview of the scenarios and their authors. I always enjoy taking a good look at a scenario in the editor. It makes you realize how much talent these people have.
  3. That would indeed be awesome. I love the ambush pattern.
  4. That must also be torture. Fortunately Richthofen and you are stronger than I am. Waiting another week would probably have driven me mad. But time flies.
  5. That's a generous offer I can't refuse. Thank you! As soon as I have adjusted my scenario I would highly appreciate it if you would be willing to take a look and advice me on some AI plans.
  6. I see. The Ausf. C gunner stands far too high, but gets low while firing. Strange, since he also has a periscope.
  7. Reinforcements have arrived Among them the Stummel Ausf.D. Gunner uses a periscope, so can stay low. It must be Ausf.C. will check than one now. May I ask why you don't have FR yet? Not my business of course, just wondering.
  8. No, not yet. I'm in a scenario with only general infantry halftracks (so far). I will check the other support halftracks.
  9. Don't think so. He only nods his head for a moment, that's all. The front of his helmet remains on the same level as the upper side of the shield while shooting.
  10. Yes, I agree, the better I look the more I doubt the gunner has been lowered. The mg is at the same height as his mouth, which is still somewhat high.
  11. The gunner does look down the sights of his weapon, that much can I confirm.
  12. Same here, apart from the briefing. I love a good briefing, with as much details as possible, although it also should be readable and not too long. I also will finish the scenario I've talked about some time ago. The AI plans will be kept simple and it will only be playable as Germans. The Russians are mainly dug in, so I only need to make some simple AI plans for some Russian tank platoons. That should be doable.
  13. When they are good enough I will share, MJ. But I'm lousy when it comes to AI plans and stuff. We will see.
  14. They do. I feel sorry for them when I see their old rifles. And yeah, not even a helmet to protect their head. Imagine the Verdun or Tannenberg veterans among them, who knew what lay in store for them.
  15. So much to chose from! But if I have to chose it's the possibility to fight in autumn and winter conditions with infantry and Volksgrenadiers in East Prussia. I'm planning on making a series of battles on the actions in and around towns like Goldap, Schirwindt and Gumbinnen with the 1st and 50th infantry division. Work has already started.
  16. Really, MJ. I'm a bloody fool, you don't know how much I longed for this moment. Boys and their toys...
  17. Pizza ordered. Bottle of red wine breathing. Wife off to her parents (not permanently, mind you). Long weekend ahead thanks to His Majesty, the King. Fire and Rubble released. Life is good.
  18. I might buy it. I'm fascinated by everything Prussian, during the 18th, 19th and 20th century. Poor East Prussia.
  19. I hesitate to highlight just one scenario, since they all look smashing, but I pressume this is one of your master pieces, George?
  20. I've read the sample, Petrus. Well written and researched, but quite a steep price for a Kindle version. Does the book describe the actual fighting for East Prussia too? So Goldap, Schirnwindt, Nemmersdorf and so on?
  21. Yeah, I also had a pleasant feeling this morning. Those Russian LL vehicles are also looking great btw.
  22. Love the new buildings, especially the churches. Volkssturm looks good. Didn't expect that. New vehicles are amazing, all of them. Winter conditions look superb. Gorgeous maps, scenarios and campaigns, well done, guys! Huge compliment to the Fire and Rubble team. Looks very polished.
