  1. Using icons qquals inability to communicate? That's a rather brash statement, how would you justify it? Also, I already speak two languages; my beautifully sophisticated home tongue, and the depraved, simplistic English to appease you foreign mongrels. Even if I was to believe your horrid generalization of having heard "nearly all" of V-Ice's (that's what the true fans call him) material, it still leaves reasonable space for his quality material. Are you trying to signal something with the use of capital letters? Other than lackluster grammar, that is.
  2. Did I mention the hardcore material? Yes, I did. If you wish, I'll only write a single sentence per paragraph so that you won't get confused.
  3. Oh, the drama! No, not the wit, or originality (both lacking)... THE DRAMA! Your inability to appreciate such talented entertainers as Vanilla Ice only underlines the pathetic state of your existence. You haven't even heard his hardcore material, I wager!
  4. I wonder who were the lucky chumps to get the cool numbers... Anyway, this thread - like all of it's smelly and witless brethren - is a waste of space. And bandwidth.
  5. Injuries to self are a possibility with almost every weapon, but I think modeling this to CM would only frustrate people.
  6. How exactly are you planning to bribe the powers that be, when your posts aren't worth a penny? Truthfully, your posts have a negative value, which is common for spam. Maybe you should even the books with the forum high brass before attempting bribery?
  7. Oddly enough, these are three things that "peng" threads seem to repulse, as if by the means of magic.
  8. Don't worry - the next time I'll be unable to log in under my usual alias, I'll re-register as "SS nazigestapohitler".
  9. Is there a tank in the Panzer III series that can penetrate T-34 turret front armor at a whopping range of 1900 meters? Think not! [EDIT] Well ok, if it was a tungsten round fired from a 50L60 gun, then there's a very slight possibility. [ February 03, 2003, 12:42 PM: Message edited by: Bone_Vulture ]
  10. Giving the user an opportunity to take part of gun aiming would open up a new venue for cheating, and I really don't think that it would be worth implementing. On the other hand, a "forced unit LOS" could work as an option for hardcore grog's. Maybe you could have a crude overhead field map of the terrain, but you could only view the 3D terrain through the "eyes" of your troops, or even more realistically, only via the eyes of commanders? It sounds fascinating, although I fear it's too hard to implement without the gameplay suffering.
  11. You rat bastard. I'm worth ten "peng" thread spammers, and you ought to know that.
  12. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!! Meh = stupid. Now, the problem is that the forum's database doesn't keep a permanent record of a user's registration data. Now, as I've renamed my e-mail address in the profile from "crystalspider@hotmail.com" to "NOSPAMcrystalspider@hotmail.com", the system is attempting to send the e-mail to an address that doesn't exists. Grand! Now, could some kind moderator/admin please edit the "NOSPAM" part out of my profile, so I could get back in the track?
  13. A mod may move this thread to an appropriate section, but personally, I'm baffled. One day, the forum prompts for my login data. As I've gotten used to the automatic log-in, I've forgotten my password, and try to ask for a new one to my registration e-mail address, but the system nags that it doesn't find a user under that address. When I try to re-register with my old alias, the system tells that it is already in use. What's going on?
  14. *Sigh* At ranges around 100-200 meters, the 20mm gun is so accurate that the second salvo is almost guaranteed to hit. I still underline that the MG kill chance is pitiful, the HT should use it's main weapon.
  15. Is it just a case of "conflicting opinion" between me and the AI? Why does the computer has to use the halftrack's MG which might barely damage the enemy armored car, instead of firing a couple of 20mm round salvos that'd be almost guaranteed to do the job? The halftrack starts with around 14 HE and 6 AP "shots": I ask what's the point, if these rounds are never used (in the same match I witnessed another SPW 250/9 fire at a pinned infantry unit some 20 meters away without using HE 20mm ammo, but only the MG).
  16. I'm thinking... Are the actual models for the vehicles and such placed in individual files or in a larger database? In the case of reviewing skins, a program that could fetch the correct model by the skin files given in order to give a 3D display would definitely be nifty. I think the people on CM coding team are the only people who can give a quick estimate on how easy the model code is to utilize.
  17. I think it's the standard MG34/42..... [EDIT] How is it possible that the "heavy" MG34/42 has a better armor penetration than the standard model? Aren't they supposed to fire the same round? [ January 21, 2003, 05:30 PM: Message edited by: Bone_Vulture ]
  18. One of my other favorite games besides CM is the Firearms mod for Half-Life. Lately I've been downloading a lot of custom models for the game's armaments, and have found the Half-Life Model Viewer to be a priceless utility for reviewing the models before actually implementing them to the game. I've wondered if there already exists a similar model viewer for CM, or is there perhaps one under construction? Considering that the CM custom model/skin is growing day by day, it'd be useful to put the interesting models/skins "under scope" without all the hassle of having to test them in-game. How is it?
