Instructions for producing umlaut characters for Mac and Windows - click [i can ättest to it working in OS9 at least] [ January 24, 2006, 08:29 PM: Message edited by: _UXcva ] -
FWIW, there is only one StuH42 (late) camo listed under MikeyD's name at CMMods in the 'AK section . It has a date entererd/updated of 05/24/04. This is the one that has the glitched bmp. The error message is "Couldn't display '12834.bmp' because a suitable graphics importer could not be found."
-
I just took at look at my Stuh42 late (which is MikeyD's) and noticed the same thing I was able to fix 12834.bmp via GraphicConverter and have it available here until he gets around to fixing it.

For fall scenarios I'm using Eichenbaum's OSF ground and brush and UncleTgt's fall tree bases [both found at cmmods]. Using the same battle you referenced here is a pic.

More scenario install problems

What platform are you using, PC or Mac? -
AFAIK, there isn't a list for terrain elements. I use this crude method: go to cmmods, do a search for e.g. brush and look at the BMP numbers after clicking the "download file here" link. Or download the file then compare with existing BMPs in Data folder.
-
Er, did you mean the BMP #s for the terrain tiles e.g. 1470-1489 is deep snow etc.?
-
Looks very good in Camino(1.0b1), and Safari 2.0.2, OS X 10.4.3 - Note: I never browse at this size and have a fairly wide monitor (17" viewable) but there is a bit of a glitch if the window is more then approx. 16" wide. See picture

Looks good Navy. I using the tricamo v. at the moment. Thanks
-
Very nice Navy! Now... if only someone could tackle that 88mm PaK43 L71, the 88s would be complete. [ November 19, 2005, 02:43 PM: Message edited by: _UXcva ]

.bmp #'s for 88mm Pak43 (L71)
_UXcva replied to _UXcva's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
I agree... I took a look at an unmodded version of the gun via a BU. In both 'BB and 'AK the stock (original) version of the 88mm L/71 has a non-camoed shield as here: -

Easy to do esp. with 3 diff. games (re the digit). I wasn't clear on this earlier but the stock gun looks like the shield piece I just put in. The rest of the gun was someones mod (probably MikeyD's) and somehow I discarded/fuxxored the shield part . -

Thanks DEY,, it was the shield that was causing the problem. 13289.bmp was the culprit. I had the "keyhole-like" .bmp [the breech?] in its place for some reason. For now I've exchanged it with the stock one. MikeyD -- if you're listening, do you still have 88mm Pak43 you modded for 'BB back in '03? forum reference It must have been lost in great CMMODS crash awhile back because its not listed anymore. Need some help... somewhere along the way I installed some wrong/extra/? .bmps for the CMBB 88mm L/71 AT gun. The other 88 guns are fine. Anyone know the .bmp #s for this gun? The .bmp lists I have just cover tanks and vehicles. Here is what it looks like: glitched88 TIA

Good stuff as always Aris. I like the progression you've taken with the weathering also.
