Rarity tables - nothing but dead links
_UXcva replied to Scorpion's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
Go here: Band of Brothers Tables & Charts. The BoB site specifically addresses rarity tables. See also Chris' CM Database and scroll down to the Tables links. Edit: Upon further inspection I see that the BoB rarity table is for CMBO only. Perhaps there is some crossover with 'AK(?) [ August 05, 2006, 01:41 AM: Message edited by: _UXcva ] -

Peng Challenges Joe Shaw to Present the Next Podcast!
_UXcva replied to Boo Radley's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 1
That I don't deny. But on similar topic I could swear this is the Justicarrot in this pic: Caption reads: A stowaway on the North West is none other than the Grand Army Man paddling to Toledo, OH. He's attending the 42nd Annual convention of the Grand Army of the Republic (Civil War veterans)in Aug. 1908. {_UX notes: The North West was a car ferry on the Great Lakes. Among other things, " The boilers were so dangerous that it was hard to keep engine room crews"}. -
***Some mods have been posted....***
_UXcva replied to patboy's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
Good stuff Pat. They blend in a bit nicer with the AK 251's that I have now. Care to take a stab at the 250/11 Italy/ETO version? (or David I if you’re reading). I think its the only HT (Italy) that hasn't been modded yet. I took the stock model and changed out the balkenkreuz but thats as far as I got. BMP starts at 115240. Pic of the 250/11 in company of other 250's done by David I (which I grunged up a little): -

I stumbled on this by accident (an article in a local online newspaper unrelated to this subject) but it might be of value to scenario/map making folk: (click on the red link within the article) WW2 Situation Maps June 6, '44 - July 26, '45 *Note also the Interactive Essay of The Battle of the Bulge following the Overview ~Its hard to link for some reason within the site but if explore a bit you can find different time periods etc. [ April 15, 2006, 05:38 AM: Message edited by: _UXcva ]

That would be one way to describe it , the chiaroscuro bit. Any effect you see is probably largely accident as I hack my way thru Photoshop and the modding process. I’m a Mac person (like you), but I struggle with the modding tutorials I ‘ve found because they all seem written for PaintShop Pro. Be nice to have one written for Ps. I have all the very nice mods you’ve done btw. You and Gautrek are the dust kings in my book. At the moment all the modding I’ve done is for my own enjoyment as my creations don’t seem up to snuff yet. If I find a model that isn’t dusty/grimy already via CMMods I’ll usu. add some wear of some kind for realism sake, smuge the decals etc. for the same reason. Recently I’ve played some scenarios featuring the German Semovente M43 da 105/25 and the Pz M15/42 738(I) that looked like plastic models/fresh-out-the-factory. Italy only had them for a short while before the Germs got them so I modifed them slightly. I -sort of- borrowed patboys camo for the M15/42. m15/42 da 105/25

I’m looking for the bmp # for the (US)M5 Stuart turret. It seems to share all the same bmps with the (US)M5A1 except the turret. The bmp range starts at 17080. M5 Stuart intro. Nov42 (foreground) & M5A1 Stuart intro. Jan43
