  4. Edwin, have you tested this by any chance? I only ask as I believe the default behaviour of the scripts should only allow USA units to appear in Egypt if the USA is active and Egypt is friendly controlled. For example, IIRC USA units cannot arrive in Egypt if they are not 100% active as Egypt is not native territory and they can only be placed there by the engine if the territory is friendly controlled.   5. Edwin, while it may or may not be completely accurate, this time around I tried to focus partisan activity in the majority of ethnic Russian locations or those that were heavily populated with ethnic Russians.

Gentlemen, As far as I know it is the same but I think what may be going on here is that the understanding of what was happening in SC1 was not ever entirely accurate and it has just been clarified in the manual for SC2. If you do find that it is not the same as in SC1 send me a saved game file and I'll gladly take a look
  8. Good catch and I've made an adjustment here so that an early Axis Major Victory requires (additionally) Stalingrad as well as Cairo. I've also added a new Axis Major Victory event for the end of the campaign (1947) that will only check for Berlin, Rome, Warsaw, Paris, London, Moscow.
  9. Note, in this case the build up portion would still be just to get units in place for transporting and the DoW as soon as units are within range of their ideal coastal landing tile.
  10. Good catch and something I've already corrected for the first patch as I'm experimenting with reduced Amphibious Transport range and so this behaviour would be essential... especially, as you've pointed out for events such as US Torch landings etc.
  11. If you set a higher number like 3 turns this gives the AI a chance to move units (BUILD UP OFFENSIVELY) towards the #GOAL_POSITION of the Baghdad and hopefully perform a more ideal invasion, once it DoW's

The min/max parameter is just a way to create variability for these scripts, for example with [1,3], will the current script check for 1 unit (minimum) within range of Moscow or does it at least need 3 units (minimum) within range of Moscow. In this case if you exceed the maximum (3) then this script line will always be satisfied. Essentially each time the event is checked it looks for a new value between 1 and 3 to see if this number of units (minimum) is within range of Moscow.

SMG42, Since you can be moving above or below the pool limit during combat, i.e. if units are destroyed, the price of the lost unit does not take into account any previously applied pool penalties, rather it will be the standard cost at 60% and then pool limit penalties will be applied if the rebuild purchase puts you over the limit once again. Hopefully that makes sense, Hubert

  16. Actually US is bumped whether you DoW on the USSR or not so as to avoid potential advantages for not declaraing war.
  17. One idea I was suggested quite a while ago was to include a script that worked similar to the Supply script but caused unit strength point losses instead. I'm still thinking this would be a good idea but I just never had the chance to get back to it... although, perhaps with the game finally being released I just might get the chance
  18. 1. Not sure I understand what you mean here... essentially you can set it to whatever your preference is.
