  6. Hi Mgangwer, Sorry to hear the trouble. While we are currently investigating Vista, as a temporary workaround can you try and download the file called 'dx7vb.dll' and place it in your Windows\System32 folder on Vista? This file can be found on Windows XP or at various locations on the web. One such download repository to carry the file can be found here: http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/D/dx7vb.dll/5.03.2600.2180/download.html After you download and place the file in your Windows\System32 directory you will need to register the file. Please use Start->Run As Administrator (or the equivalent on Vista) to run the following command: regsvr32 dx7vb.dll After this the game should run, hope this helps, Hubert

  10. Yes, I had it checking so that it would ignore Air Fleets, Bombers, Carriers and Rockets on cross river attacks but forgot to inlcude Battleships and Cruisers
  11. Thanks Bromley, this is indeed a bug... consider it fixed for the next patch.
  12. Without a 2nd Bomber type, i.e. to split Strategic Bombers from medium/dive bombers there were some compromises made such as those you outlined and thus the decision to just go with the name Bombers... but a second Bomber type would probably resolve all these issues

Bombers reduce entrenchment on units when they actually hit a unit... remember the change here was to have bombers a bit more strategic in nature then they were in SC1, so hits on units stationed on a resource are a lot less likely to happen until you get heavy bombers. The introduced naval spotting bug will be corrected for the next patch.
  14. Difficult to say for sure on both questions. As it is now though v1.06 should be compatible but there are some 1939 campaign changes and a few bug fixes that won't kick in until everyone upgrades to v1.06.
  15. Strange error, if you haven't already tried doing so... can you try a reboot and turn off any other multimedia devices while playing SC2 to see if that helps. Hubert

  17. Thanks for the feedback Bob. Unfortunately this one is a little tricky as originally I wanted to have it that naval units could pass through hidden Neutral units but there were some issues with having it work just right in the case where you could not complete your move right through a series of hidden Neutral units. Essentially the problem is it cannot work exactly like how it does where you can pass through your own units since the enemy units are hidden and handling this special case was as far as I remember a little problematic. I'll see what I can do though.
