Changing unit classes
Hubert Cater replied to photonred's topic in Strategic Command 2 Scenario and Mods Forum
I'd have to think about it but off hand probably not anytime soon... it is one of those things where you try and lay out the design to be as modifiable as possible but if you miss something it is usally a lot of work to go back and change some of this stuff without major overhauls. -
Moonslayer, there were some notes added into the v1.05a patch upon installation describing the incompatibilities between previous versions of SC2 and this new patch but it is also mentioned here in the following thread: http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=59;t=000097 Hope this helps, Hubert

I couldn't see the issue either but then tried re-saving the sample wav you sent with a utility called GoldWave and it worked like a charm. Sent you the reply e-mail last night. Hubert -

Need Custom Sound Advice
Hubert Cater replied to Steve Rogers's topic in Strategic Command 2 Scenario and Mods Forum
I do remember having problems with one sound way back when as well... I think Moonslayer is on the right track, make sure that the sounds you are trying to use are exactly the same, spec for spec otherwise there might be an issue. If you can't see anything, send me a sound you know does not work and I will try and take a look. Hubert -

Need Custom Sound Advice
Hubert Cater replied to Steve Rogers's topic in Strategic Command 2 Scenario and Mods Forum
Hi Steve, is it just the one transport buffer sound that is giving you this problem? If so then it might just be that this particular sound is incompatible (for whatever reason) with SC2. Can you try another sound? -
Ok, interesting find... I'll see what might have been the problem Hubert
-
Can you try updating your video card driver as well as updating to the latest version of DirectX? Usually one of these resolves the issue
-
Ok that might actually work as you suspect and in that case it is good news indeed, thanks!
