  1. PBEM Helper Using it, you can re-watch the whole PBEM games, from your side's point of view.
  2. Maybe there is a way to restore the file with Windows ?
  3. "Hey , i see a light in this house. Let's ask if they can help us." Looks like the typical opening scene of a horror movie...
  4. I have suffered a total defeat in PBEM as the Allies in this one. I had totally re-worked the default set-up, but it apparently based upon desastrous tactical choices. According to my opponent, my forces were too scaterred. Ok, but as the front is quite large and the visbilty low, i'd like to hear other experiences from players in this scenario.
  5. It's not linked to PBEMH. I've this problem too (i'm a PBEMH user myself) with some of my opponent. It is related to the e-mail provider. Sometimes ziping the file (which PBEMH can do automatically) solves the problem.
  6. CMBB B&T The Baskan Bridgehead CMAK Bir Hakeim All is Fair Brits at Anzio Panic at Gela I know it's Rune policy not to post his, but at least others scenarios deserve reviews.

  8. On a smaller scale there is also Sowchos 79 about this episode (11th Panzer action only though).
  9. Really superior mod. No please could you do a city pavement of the same kind (no sparkling effect)?
  10. I'm looking for a bilingual french/english speaker to translate the briefing of a scenario i'm doing. I've written it in french and I'm looking for a quality translation. Please e-mail me here : nblanpre@fr.perenco.com Best regards
  11. Fro my experience, no. In Beginning of the End i tried to avoid a night combat for my SS troops and it didn't work.
  12. Oops the very same question was asked and answered some threads below [Edit : and in the manual too, Michael is right.] [ March 05, 2004, 05:20 AM: Message edited by: Thin Red Line ]
  13. Is it possible, when designing a map, to enlarge the current map toward the bottom or left side ? It seems that by default the enlarging tool adds length and width only on the upper and right sides.
  14. Again a scenario that's not reviewable on the Depot. Too bad. It's a excellent one, a real nailbiter and a nightmare for any armchair tactician. The Romanians can really show their valor as this is mainly an infantry battle on an extremely difficult terrain. I strongly recommend it for PBEM.
  15. Another vote for PBEM Helper . The best invention since sliced bread. I'm also amazed by the number of people not using it, while it could really change their (CM) life. Oh the joy of sending a turn by just hiting 4 keys : F5 F4 CtrlEnter . The Replay full batlle feature is great too and works like a charm.
  16. I love them. Used in group, they are deadly for all light armored vehicules.
  17. They're good at defense (ambushes). In attack they can be used at the critical point of the firefight against an well entrenched enemy , when the ennemy is slightly too powerful to be overrun in an acceptable amount of time and ammo by the sole firepower of the rifles, the FT makes them panic and rout very quickly at a minimum cost (casualty and ammo-wise). The trick is to bring them at efficient range without being spotted. Double stealth bonus HQ and use of sneak command (on the last few meters, they get tired pretty fast) does help. But the FTs remain one of the most difficult unit to use properly and to make survive the battle.
  18. So, are they accurate or not ? Any grog opinion around ? Nice mods, btw.
