  1. Does anyone know remember the name of the Hohenfeld German training scenario from CMBO? ...and is there a CMAK remake of this battle? I always liked that scenario, as it can be a tough one for the Germans, and it's really good practice at extended movement-to-contact vs. MG's over lots of different kinds of terrain. Thanks!   3. This scenario helped create my disdain for the desert part of CMAK. It is NOT Fun. If you give the AI no bonuses, you can FAST move most of your armor to low areas and then slowly move to volley fire on one gun at a time. With any AI bonuses, my tanks got wiped out before they could get to cover.
  4. Patience is the key to winning in CM. As soon as I'm doing well in most battles (regardless of size), I get all cocky, and BOOM, I make a HUGE mistake. Someday I'll learn...maybe....

  6. In case yer wondering, the error I got for these .bmp's was: "Couldn't display "xxxxxx.bmp" because a suitable grapics importer could not be found."
  7. Actually, yes, this .exe has been recucitated from a CD that was crapping out. I had to repair the Rar .exe file so I could run the game. THAT may have something to do with it. But then, the .exe on my HD has not been tampered with. That being the case, does it matter whether I install the 1.03 patch or not? Oh, and the missing .bmp's are the Late model. FYI.   10. You'll have to FTP or upload the image somewhere online. I'm sure someone here has a site or two that offer free image hosting services.
  11. This is a weird one. Note: No texture for Stug IV, obviously, and Panther graphic in the interface. I just installed the new Nvidia drivers 66.93 (rebooted)and still have the same issues (not that it would help the Panther graphic in the interface any) Any ideas? WinXp SP1 GeForce3 Ti 200 128MB RAM, 66.93 drivers Thanks!

  13. This is the best use of HT's I've found, esp. against (a) infiltrated infantry without heavy support and/or ( to aid the fulcrum of an attack when momentum is everything.

  18. Yup. That'd be Very Very Handy. One thing that is always frustrating is not being able to reference your unit's capabilities compared to the enemy while in game. That is, having unit stats side by side for comparison. Thanks!

  21. I think to simulate this kind of tactic/doctrine it would be nice to have a: MOVE-TO-CONTACT, MOVE or even FAST-TO-CONTACT, FAST/MOVE combined command.
