Pretty sure there is still no random map generator. But being able to pick some settings like time of day and weather options would be great.

Man, is it just me or has anybody else sorely missed the strategy of choosing units in CMx1 QBs? This was like a game within a game. The classic being when a cat-loving opponent spent most of his points on heavy German armor on a wooded or town map. Thinking the tanks are unstoppable and that additional support is not needed. Then to see em all burning at the end of the battle. Oh the memories... Looking forward to getting my filthy hands on this. Which leads to the inevitable question, how far along is CMN? Will this be on our hard drives in less than two, four, or six months? Not really after a specific release date, just a round-about estimate.

Ok great, sounds good and thanks for the belated bone. But would it kill you to post a pic or two? Of something, anything, even of the purchase screen to better explain it. As the ole saying goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words.".

I think it's pretty well common knowledge by now that Blue is a bit too uber even in the worst ambush situations. Somewhat understandable since they are better trained and better equipped. But still, at such short ranges of like below 50m or so it doesn't matter whether you got a AK-47 or a M4, your gonna hit what your aiming at. In regards to balance, if you got USMC/US/UK infantry that are vets, then your Syrians should be crack or elite.

IIRC the game only costs $20 as well. Not bad at all.

They just announced the release date of Mafia 2 for August 24th. Which roughly marks the same date the original shipped way back in 2002. I know others around here liked the original alot too. It was considered a more realistic and serious GTA type game. Greatly looking forward to this.

Try reloading it, I notice once in a blue moon the wrong graphics will load up.

I posted about this not long ago: http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=90860 I get the impression part of the reason a red vs blue(AI) campaign is ignored is due to the assumption that red has to defend all the time. Since we all know the AI attacking a human is well, usually laughable. Which leads to the human being the attacker the more popular way to play. So I would love to see, and I think others would too, an attacking/aggressive red vs blue(AI) campaign. Simulating moments of insurgent or Syrian counterattacks after big blues initial push. Besides, as of now, there is no red vs blue(AI) campaigns. That alone would draw attention to it.

Are you using the links from the email or just coming here normally like from your favorites list? If you are indeed coming here normally and it's still trying to get you to download it then that is very abnormal. I vaguely remember this kind of reaction happening before when they updated the toolbar or something. But yeah as Sergie said, don't take my word for it. We'll hear from BF soon enough. Relax guys, it's the battlefront toolbar, good to be cautious though. From the main page, mouse over "Comms" and then click on the "Toolbar" option. It's the same thing as in the email. Although I don't use it myself, no real reason too.
