God, I thought I was a jerk, LOL!

C'mon Max, take the gloves off. My money's on you man. Go get him! -
No, not very cool. Very Hot! If you have nothing better to do, send me a copy I can't wait. [ 04-16-2001: Message edited by: bfamily33 ]

Two Sheds: I use the install single mod feature to manage/switch between the vehicles I want to use. It seems to work just fine.
-
Jonah: You can do that already by just redirecting the ModManager as to what folder your mods are stored in. Do this via the configuration tab. I use five separate subfolders within the main MOD folder. My armor is separated by nationality and my terrain mods are in the main Mod folder. When I want a different vehicle, I jump to the configuration tab and change the location where it looks for the mod.

When can we expect to see that in the showroom? Soon I hope.

MOD: Small Arms - Ver. 1.1 for CM Mod. Mgr.
bfamily33 replied to bfamily33's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
I haven't had a chance to pass this along yet. I'll try to upload it this weekend to Manx. -
Fyi, if you are a CM Mod Manager user, you'll want to wait for Manx to post it for download. Doug has the unpackaged copy. The Mod itself is the same.

I've passed it along to Manx.

Doug: Yes, it's the same jeep. You got an advance copy. I forgot to mention. It's low-res.

I've updated my Small Arms Mod for use with the CM Mod Manager. Besides being updated for use with the CM Mod. Mgr., the following improvements have been made since the old version: The sniper scope is included. I accidently left it out of the old release. The water lines for the water-cooled Vickers and M1917 machine guns have ben added. M1928 .45 Thompson submachine "Tommy Gun" has been added (in "US Early" Extra) M1903 Springfield Rifle has been added (also in "US Early" Extra) I've tweaked the base of MG34 and MG42 where they meet the tripod mount. There used to be a gap. The MP44 assault rifle is now included in the "Bayonet" Extra (it's also is the default for "Jager" Extra). The M1919 medium machine gun is no-longer a blue/green hue. It's been changed to look more like a dark gunmetal. The Lee Enfield bitmap has been improved. It was not historically correct. Many of you commented on that. I'll try to find a host for this as well. I use to post with Mojo's Combat Mission but it appears he's inactive these days.

I've tweaked the color so its not so green. I've also added the star on the hood. I'll try to find a host for this soon.

Where is the US "M3 Grease Gun"?
bfamily33 replied to Echo's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Fyi, you can install a M3 Grease Gun mod into the .45 Thompson slot. That mod is available at Combat Mission HQ. -
Try Desert Fox's Combat page: http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Capsule/2930/CombatMission/Combatmission.htm

COMBAT MISSIONS: Updated ACHILLES Mod, by Tiger
bfamily33 replied to Manx_CM's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Is it just me, or is the link not working right now? 9:00 a.m. EST -
Maximus: It does exist. It is hiding. It looks damn good! I don't think it's available for download. The mod is by Fernando. Quality stuff!!! Hopefully he'll make that available at CM Outpost or somewhere else.

Can we get an update KIA?

looking for a Priest mod (regular non winter camo)
bfamily33 replied to Freak's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Not sure that's right Max. I think Tiger did a camo scheme for the Priest. I'll check to tonight and see if I can confirm that. -
Looks like Mike Duplesis has created a very nice church and a commercial building (with propaganda poster). Not very often that a building mod comes along. Nice change, nice work! Hopefully, this link will work: http://home.germany.net/101-77027/CM/German.html [This message has been edited by bfamily33 (edited 03-08-2001).]

Panther A Mod, Italy 1943/44
bfamily33 replied to audace's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Hey: May as well throw Fionn Kelly's short-75 rule out the window. Who would want to limit themself from kicking, or getting kicked, by that beautiful cat. Nice work! [This message has been edited by bfamily33 (edited 03-08-2001).] -
JagdPanther, JagdTiger and Jpz IV download...
bfamily33 replied to a topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
If I recall, they are contained within Madmatt's Mod Pack (MDMP-2?). Should be available on the new CMHQ site. That whole add-on pack is a classic. If your new to CM go check those oldies out. There are alot of keepers on that site. In the good olde days it was the only site when looking for a mod. Kwazydog, JagdPanther and JagdTiger are my goto mods for those beasts. The are like a fine wine and continue to age gracefully. Now I have JagdPanzer to match. Thanks! -
Winter Priest Mod DOESN'T EXIST !
bfamily33 replied to Pascal DI FOLCO's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
I think Sgt. Schultz, a.k.a. Mr. Hellcat, was planning to do a Priest. -
I've taken my issue offline and it appears I haven't offended anyone. Whew! I'm relieved. This appears to have been a non-specific request for etiquette. Clearly there are strong opinions on this. As for me, I will continue to plod along with a mod now and then. I will continue to credit the original CMBO-BTS skins as I use them. That's all.

Mike: I agree with your thoughts but I want to be clear, that individual did NOT deny me permission to post or circulate that grey stug. It was my call not to make that mod available for download. I repect his work and he had valid concerns. In fact, his feedback to me only served to encourage me to do further mods. If you wish to call someone short-sighted, it's proably me for not going back and removing his suspension and spare track and then releasing the mod to the public.
