I tend to agree. I have at times made deliberate decisions to send a squad, frequently bazooka teams, into damaged buildings because it was the only way to sneak up on an enemy tank. Now I wonder whether I should use heavily damaged buildings to buffer my tanks from anti-tank teams. Will the Russians and Germans, in CM,2 immediately abandon a position in a damaged building in Stalingrad? I think not. It's a calculated risk and one I do not make often but I would have preferred it be left with the squad leader.

It was a mother beautiful bridge before Madmatt go to it. But it wasn't my brown stone bridge (mod available at CMHQ). Madmatt, you are as handy with arty as you artyful web pages.

The latter two sites are your best bets for EVERYTHING else. Look for the following authors (in no particular order): Tiger Kwazy Dog Fernando Carrera Bul (sp?) Bergman Molek Kump Magua Molinarolo There is soooo muchhh to choose from. Don't spend too much time trying to get that perfect look. Old Dog: You've gone and done it now. You turned me to the dark (subdued) side. I long thought Tremblett's grass was the best. Hadn't found a subdued grass I liked as much until yours. I'm spending the night swapping bitmaps for everything else to get the right look. That said, what are these transparent bases that Jackson mentioned? Can you e-mail them or post them as I am on hotmail and it rejected the file size. Thanks Again!

Deanco: You're probably aware, I use your HIVIS. The one that was originally posted on CMHQ. I then modified your interface with an ADDON. I dropped your Splash screens (?) and added my own. Added some icons, famous faces, slightly different text and colors. Madmatt posted last week. Your mod was my inspiration! :cool

Anyone know of a decent mod for the Jagdpanzer IV. bmp 3380 to 3387. I've taken the existing camo and changed the contrast to get a dark camo job and a winter gray/white mod. However, it's only a C+ improvement. Not not nearly to the hall-of-fame level of Kwazy, Tiger, or Berg.

Pritzl's Mod Pack? I don't see it. I looked under Allied Winter Vehicles. I see only the Albert Michael / Michael Albert(?) pack. Is there a winter camo Priest out there?

I've sent two story replacement buildings to Madmatt a few days ago; no winter mod. He's either waiting or they didn't pass the old QT. They are not nearly as subdued as Magua's but not as bright as the originals. My previous mods were Small Arms, Wheatfield, Brown Stone Bridge, Urban European Building Mod and InterfaceADDon. Since passing the 2 story mods to madmatt, I'm taking a break to actually get some real CM time.

The Shermans MODs are right on. Especially given the proliferation of German armor mods. Thanks for the great work! Batch files are a big plus.

Does anyone else use shoulder insignia for troops? I utilize the 82nd and 101st patches in US airborne scenarios. A bit on the blurry side, but the affect works.

The tops of the weapons in the small arms mod pack did not fit precisely with the tops of the existing weapons. In effect, I made a decision NOT to mod the tops of the weapons. Didn't appear to lose anything visually on my system. Haven't heard that others have had problems with the tops being blank. Be curious to know if someone had problems and chose to mod the missing tops. Oh man, I just mod 'em I don't know what makes them work.

Looking for smoke and would like to see thru walls. I noticed all the probelms w/Voodoo video cards/drivers. Any safe bets/rec. on a problem free video card? I guess I'd expect to pay $50-65 for a card. Can anyone shed some light? Much appreciated.
