  1. MeatEtr, Canon did this deliberately, because there was a coding bug with CMBB v1.0 and V1.01 where the top of the SPW was using the texture of the Romanian PSW. BF.C corrected it with patch v1.02.
  2. No problem. Churchill BMPs: 15200 - 15214 and 15219 as icon picture
  3. Yes, they do. BF.C did not update the flak truck 3D models, so they can be considered as final. Just make sure that you install the complete set: - flak truck set - flak gun set (20mm quad grey/yellow, 37mm grey) - yellow 37mm (by Marco Bergman) [ March 02, 2003, 09:42 PM: Message edited by: mike8g ]
  4. With the v1.02 patch the range of the bmp files for the Churchill has changed completely. The v1.02 Churchill files now start at 15200.BMP Marcus
  5. I have uploaded a vehicle BMP list at the CM Mod Database. If you're looking for the Pz38t's BMP, here's the data directly: Pz38t A : bmp 12160 - 12179 Pz38t E/G: same as model A plus some BMPs starting with 15220 Marcus
  6. I have just updated my patch at the CM Mod Database. It now includes the missing R-35 file. Marcus
  7. Nope, just discovered that this is a new issue. But it is very easy to solve. Ths missing texture number is 13099.bmp - Go into your CMBB/BMP folder - Make a copy of 8579.bmp - Rename this copy as 13099.bmp Marcus
  8. This has been already dealt with. BTW, it's not wrong graphic but some missing textures (the Panther pic is the default graphic). Look here: http://www.battlefront.com/cgi-bin/bbs/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=23;t=005856#000011 I have uploaded a patch at the CM Mod Database and Madmatt has posted the missing textures in the above thread. 9. Bug corrected ! I've uploaded a small patch at the CM Mod Database which corrects this bug. In fact it's not a real bug but two missing textures: 15099 and 15239. Marcus [ February 16, 2003, 12:22 PM: Message edited by: mike8g ]
  10. Welcome to the ISU driving school ! Before you're actually allowed to enter the real tank, you'll have to do some dry runs first !!
  11. They do ! Here's the URL with the contest winners: http://www.battlefront.com/Model_Contest/index.html And here are their models: http://www.battlefront.com/Model_Contest/finalist/index.htm

  13. Steve, thanks for the info - and the confirmation Marcus
  14. Gentlemen, in CMBO the StuG III and StuG IV share the same textures, except for two: 4600.bmp (StuG IV side) instead of 3270.bmp 4601.bmp (StuG IV gun barrel) instead of 3274.bmp So you'll just have to install these particular bmp's. Below are two links with complete StuG III/IV sets: ftp://ftp.combatmission.com/gordon/GermanVehicles/Fernando_StuGs_TriColor_CMMOS_hr.zip ftp://ftp.combatmission.com/gordon/GermanVehicles/Fernando_StuGs_MonoColor_CMMOS_hr.zip Marcus [ February 08, 2003, 04:44 PM: Message edited by: mike8g ]
  15. So true, Mord. That's why I started this thread with the question: "True or a CDV speculation ?" Marcus
  16. Just read this on the German CDV forum: Patch v1.02 is supposed to be available on Wednesday, 02/12/03. True or just a CDV speculation ? Source: CDV German CMBB Forum ---------------------------------------------- They also posted the complete readme.txt from the patch. Here's a small extract, listing the new & improved 3D tank models: *new* Pz 38(t) E BT-2 SPW 250/11 Valentine III StuG IV (early and late) German 28mm sPzB 41 Panzerbüchse *improved* Tiger I (early, mid, late) M3 scout car PSW 234/1 Puma PSW 234/3 SPW 250/1 Churchill Russian 76.2mm M1927/39 regimental gun [ February 08, 2003, 05:06 PM: Message edited by: mike8g ]
  17. Yes I know, Madmatt. I simplified a bit to make the answer as simple as possible My post is corrected now. Marcus
  18. In order to get some things straight: 1. Gordon is not CMHQ. 2. CMHQ is run by Madmatt (from Battlefront.com) and will therefore not terminate. 3. Gordon is/was responsible for the CMMOS mod files. 4. He was allowed by BF.C to use their server for his CMMOS files. 5. Additionally his mods were posted at CMHQ. 19. Some more: SdKfz 6/2 Flak HT SdKfz 10/4 Flak HT Pz I Grille Sturmgeschütz IV Marder series (5 versions share two models)
  20. Some more Russian tanks that fell victim to the dreaded German Luftwaffe [ January 11, 2003, 09:37 PM: Message edited by: mike8g ]
  21. The problem with the white Ampulomet came with the first patch. It's a coding issue and NOT a missing BMP file and will be dealt with the next patch. Marcus
  22. Frohes neues Jahr aus Deutschland !! Happy New Year from Germany !! Marcus
  23. Andreas, FGS is the official designation, though it is not shown for easier reference. I'm an officer of the German Navy and believe me, every ship has even more designations. Some of them you'll never find on public websites. Let's a take an example: Name: Niedersachsen Class: Fregatte Hull number: F 208 Type designator: FFAH National identifier: FGS International callsign: DRXX (changed) You'll use combinations of these items as required for each purpose. Public designation: Fregatte Niedersachen Communication lists: FGS Niedersachen International public comms: DRXX (changed) Tactical lists: FFAH Niedersachsen Tactical (short): F 208 However, when officially addressing a German warship via comms (non tactical), you'll have to use the prefix "FGS" and this is to confirm NATO standards.
