  1. Ah hah, badgered you into eh. I did order the Boulogne book. Will send you Small Battles, 3 RTR at Calais, 1940 tomorrow or Sunday as I'm finishing up my own internal play test. Thanks
  2. Oh no another battles, Boulogne huh, well I guess I'll have to look that up too. Hmmm I was hoping you'd beg to play test, my regular play testers are swamped with two Arab - Israeli scenarios?? I mean its your fault for bringing this up :]
  3. Rupert Per your suggestion I obtained a book on Calais. I have a draft version of a meeting engagement between the 3 Royal Tank Regiment and 1st Panzer Division on the 23 of May on the outskirts of Calais near Guines. Thanks for your suggestion, 4 good small scenarios in that battle. Hans
  4. Thanks JonS Andreas provided me with a link that was more than sufficient. However I have a follow on question for another scenario, the eguipment of the 10th Panzer on or about the 23 May 1940. Oh stupid question, as far as I can tell CMAK doesn't seem to have a Pz1 in it, is this correct? I've been using Pz IICs with main gun ammo removed.
  5. Perhaps he was firing at one of the Shermans made of mild steel for training and later turned into a target?
  6. Combinedarms is correct - the scenarios and the briefings have gotten much better from CMBO to CMAK-the designers have learned the 'knack'. If the new CMx2 is a revision of the ETO then I would suspect a lot of the old scenario will be redone and they will get even better with the new formats and expanded capabilities of the engine.
  7. Two city fighting scenarios Small Battles, Desaprensivos and Small Battles, Lolla Alla Morte The first one is set at the start of the Spanish Civil War as the Nationalists and Republican fight for control of a provincial capital. The other one is a German staff group attempting to escape from a city to avoid an encircling Canadian force.
  8. If they modularize the game as I hope they will I suspect it would be: WWII: Western Allies, ETO WWII: Eastern front WWII: "Cmak" WWII: Early war Then the various modules for other areas to include PTO, SCW etc ....hey I'm already to do scenarios for the Indo-Paki battles... What ever they come up with I'm sure it'll be good considering one main point MUST be saleability and CMBO covered the most saleable period which I suspect will be again covered first.
  9. Worst CMx2 set ups 1980 A militant fascist Luxembourg invades Andora using discarded 1960s Italian and French light armour. 1972 Canada versus Denmark over fishing rights near Greenland called the "Disco Cod war". Ultimate gamers nightmare, a dictator takes over Ireland and the Garda invades Bermuda circa 1957.
  10. Oh yeah one other note when ordering a meal don't mistake Riz for Ris.
  11. I still remember exercises when we would move into areas the French armoured units in Germany had previously trained in, you could tell by the wine bottles and tins of pate...
  12. Okay between 650-1000 meters then? going once twice? Do we have a third bid?
  13. Grogs What would the minimum length need to be for a 1930's made Euorpean airfield suitable for single engine fighters? This would be the single strip not the classic 'X' Hans
  14. http://tanxheaven.com/fedcol/brussel/brussel.htm Here is a link to it. Recommended
  15. The Bayuex is the best from the CM point of view in that area plus the (name skips from mind) in Brussels-TONS of WWII armour.
  16. Ich kann ein Bit des Deutsch sprechen, hat dort für drei und halbes Jahre gearbeitet. Dank für die Verbindung Does Verbindung mean link in internet way???
  17. Italians make excellent Frenchmen, just change the names and there you go,
  18. Viele Dank für Ihre brilliante Hilfe und Fachkenntnis Hans
  19. In May 1940. Anyone know which tanks/vehicles were part of the Panzer-Regiment 1 Panzer-Abteilung I Panzer-Abteilung II Kradschützen-Abteilung 1 Aufklärungs-Abteilung 4 Panzerjäger-Abteilung 37 Thanks
  20. What was the breakdown for soft skinned vehicles in a 1940's RTR?
  21. I apologize for the beastly members of this forum! They are really nice guys but after four years certain subjects have become as welcome as tofu at a carnivores convention. This horse has not only been beaten while dead, the remains have started to fossilize.... Hey speaking of horses why not ask why horses aren't included in CMAK Welcome to CMAK Hans
  22. For the term 'ridge' would the British have referred to this as a crest, finger, etc or some other term? A ridge being a raised area, with a valley or draw on each side running down from a higher hill or mountain. TIA
  23. Perhaps we should have posted it at the proving grounds and had everyone comment on it first! </font>

  25. No you would not, -20 on the Fort Sill FO training list of errors. You adjust with HE PD, unless near water or deep snow then mechanical time (to ensure you can see the impact)
