If you are lucky they will take out the commander even if they don't destroy the tank. The molotovs are a bit iffy, but the wurfmines (or whatever they are called) seem to work rather well.

Any chance of a vehicle list for the CMBB area?

Any chance of a vehicle list for the CMBB area?

I was looking at the list of vehicles for the modelling contest and I had to find out more about the Hungarian Nimrod. I found a couple of sites that may be of interest to grogs: http://users.swing.be/tanks/index.htm http://members.tripod.com/~Sturmvogel/Panzerkeil.html My apologies if these are already well known sites. And I found this particularly amusing: http://members.tripod.com/~Sturmvogel/tanker.html [ September 07, 2002, 04:10 PM: Message edited by: Pvt. Ryan ] -
Is Madmatt not the greatest? He is looking into a way to modify the BFC ordering process to accomodate a customer request. That is the kind of company service you are unlikely to find anywhere else.

Hey, BTS can I get my old account back?

The Shandorf alter ego actually has a lower member number. -
will CMBB be order to ship to TIJUANA
Pvt. Ryan replied to al hernandez's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I think BFC can ship anywhere in the world, other than to European territory covered by the CDV distribution deal. -
One of my KVs fired its rear MGs for the first time tonight. At first I thought one of the German crews was firing at the KV until I realized it was the rear MG firing at the German crews as it was hunting for the last PIII. Pretty cool!

It shows whether your battle takes place in the northern, central, or southern part of the Soviet Union. The terrain and weather varry from region to region.

I'm bitterly disappointed, or, Roster Revisited

Michael, I really like your idea, but don't forget that the amount of wasted space depends on what resolution you play at. 1600x1200 gives you tons of wasted space, but 800x600 does not. -
My only complaint about the demo

Big Time Footware. I think they are branching out or somefink. [ September 05, 2002, 09:16 PM: Message edited by: Pvt. Ryan ] -
My only complaint about the demo
Pvt. Ryan replied to Tiger's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I agree, but this demo doesn't have to keep you occupied for months. You can have the full version by the end of the month. I think the demo was just intended to show off some of the new features. -
While I share your enthusiasm, please watch your language. Most of the people who read this forum are children.

German for beginners, 2nd try
Pvt. Ryan replied to ParaBellum's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Where is "mein bein, mein bein!"? Thanks for the list. It seems that the speech gives us more useful information than we got in CMBO. Hopefully someone can do a Russian translation as well. [ September 04, 2002, 02:20 PM: Message edited by: Pvt. Ryan ] -
Gotta love the ambush cammo on the Sturmtiger. "Comrade, where did that huge freaking shell come from?" "Um, it came from that big vehicle pretending to be invisible. The diameter of its barrel is bigger than my wife's waist!" "Thank you soldier. For your keen observation you are the given the honor destroying it with this molotov. Davai, or somefink!"

Please bring back the shockwaves......!
Pvt. Ryan replied to a topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I always thought the shockwaves looked a little cheesey, but now I appreciate them for their usefulness more than their visual accuracy. [ September 04, 2002, 01:34 PM: Message edited by: Pvt. Ryan ] -
