  1. The only time I see it is when I load a game that was saved while arty was falling.
  2. I believe the download link is only active for a year from the date of purchase.
  3. The most important issue is whether the mast on the vehicle has any effect on LOS in game. I'd love to be able to park the vehicle just behind the crest of a hill and be able to call in fire missions.
  4. I'd imagine shooting fish in a barrel would be a must in the Space Lobsters game.
  5. I didn't think spotting worked when you click on an empty vehicle. In my experience clicking on an empty vehicle is the same as not clicking on anything - you can see what all units combined can see.
  6. I don't see why the quantity of rounds should indicate the duration of fire. It should only indicate the number of rounds available. The duration of the mission would dictate the duration of the fire mission, to the extent there are rounds remaining.
  7. I have noticed that troops on roofs are really hard to kill in other scenarios as well. I wonder if something changed with 1.20.
  8. I paid $25 for the download and another $10 for the CD and shipping and handling for a total of $35. I don't even see an option to pay $50.
  9. Is that known in advance or is it determined when the unit goes to fire one of those weapons? I was under the impression that whoever wanted to use one of those weapons would ask the guy carrying one to give it to him if he wasn't already carrying it (at least in CMSF).

  11. I love the tiny box that the Brits module came in.
  12. If you can get the snipers in close enough, they can take out a lot of the enemy.
  13. I'll have to try the heavy Apache fire. I've been using medium. I wish there were a way to lob grenades over the berms. You know the enemy is there, but you can't suppress them without exposing your men to direct fire. The mortars help, bu there isn't enough ammo, plus you have to drop the mortar rounds pretty close to your own men who are waiting to go over the top.
  14. It will be. It is my understanding that CMx2 WWII will be more comprehensive in depth than CMx1 was once all of the titles and modules are done. You won't have the minor nations, but you will get more for the major participants.
  15. I can't get the Syrian MGs on the roofs to die. I hit one with two helo strikes and two mortar attacks and it is still firing. Do you guys use light, medium, or heavy attacks with the helos?
  16. By the time you get to the Eastern front the engine will have matured a great deal and it would be unthinkable that dog mines won't be included.
  17. In my experience, Scimitars are nothing but cannon fodder. I would try unbuttoning to improve spotting.
  18. What about the battles depicted in Braveheart?
  19. The campaigns don't have to be all attack vs defend. There could be meeting engagements. although I guess it would be harder to program the AI.
  20. I suspect they are working on programming the new features first with the pretty stuff coming later. But they can show us some clown cars, can't they?
