  1. G'day Jeff, great scenario which I thought fitted the ROW style superbly. Unfortunately my experience was somewhat tarnished by not being able to complete the last 15 turns before the deadline but it was very enjoyable up to that point. I just thought I'd point out that your Allied briefing already mentioned (from memory) that there were two Flak guns defending the bridge so I was perplexed when I couldn't locate the 2nd Flak gun after much furtive hunting around. Overall the scenario was based on a great premise with lots of flexibility required in handling ones forces to achieve a victory. Regards Jim R.
  2. O.K., thanks for clarifying. Far be it for me to argue with the guy who actually designed the scoring programme. Regards Jim R.

  5. I don't like the sound of those "V.B" launchers. I'm buggered if I can see how launching bottles of "V.B." (Victoria Bitter) would do much harm to a tank. Regards Jim R.
  6. Probably a stupid question but how does one go about gaining access to this website? How do you go about registering? Thanks in advance. Regards Jim R.

  9. I second that Deadly 88. That third scenario is simply HUGE! Trying to squeeze 50 turns out (i.e. around 150 game files) in 90 days could be a real struggle. Regards Jim R.

  12. Just seen this post about the scores. Although the end result is moot in terms of who the worthy finalists are I just thought I'd point out that my aggregate score should be .22 by my calculations rather than .04 as far as I could tell. If I've misunderstood how this overall positional table was calculated then I'll stand corrected. Thanks for all your efforts Kingfish, Nabla, Holien & Spanish Bombs, much appreciated. Regards Jim R.

  15. I went to the site to update my Shockwave, downloaded the vrml programme seperately & then applied the exe download but before applying the Eichenbaum modification to CMBB, ensured I restarted my computer so that the 2 previous upgrades were fully functioning. Once the computer fired up again I then applied Eichenbaums 28 Mb modification to CMBB by ensuring it was directed to the correct folder manually (my CMBB was under a different drive to the default C drive & I had called the folder it was under something different). Once the mod had unpacked itself I then ran the programme & so far, it's worked like a dream. I must say that the overall package is exceptionally impressive with the new look of CMBB using new terrain tiles etc. The only thing I miss is the loss of my grids but it's only temporary while Operation Storfang runs & I'll live for the moment. One other thing, OSF makes it quite clear to first close down your internet browser AND CMBB before running the OSF programme. I'm not sure why but I did as was requested & everything worked fine. Finally, I must say that I would thoroughly recommend Eichenbaum contact the BFC guys to get this thread pinned at the top of the CMBB forum as he & his team's tireless efforts to get it up & running is nothing short of amazing. Clearly they have gone above & beyond in writing this software as an adjunct to CMBB which comes totally free of charge. It is very professionally done & akin to something you would have expected Battlefront.com to have done themselves. If the BFC guys take the time to look at this piece of programming I'm sure they couldn't help but be impressed & possibly should consider making an offer to Eichenbaum & his team to join forces in future to produce top notch campaign options in the yet to be released CMX2 game. Just my thoughts on it anyway. Regards Jim R.
  16. Would this line of Aussies all be holding a tinnie in one hand and a thong (item of footware not underwear) in the other? Regards Jim R.
  17. In answer to your thread title it was simple....be on the other side. Regards Jim R.
  18. Was this unit trained to divert the enemy towards the mountainous regions in the north of England? Regards Jim R.
  19. Or when issuing an order for a unit to run across an open field in LOS of the enemy you get "Do you think that's wise?" Regards Jim R.
  20. Weren't those break off splinter munitions banned under the Geneva Convention covered by the sub-category of flechette munitions? They also qualified as "banable" under the other subcategory of germ warfare since those damn splinters always caused secondary infections. Regards Jim R.
