  1. One of my favorites: Bullethead's hilarious (and accurate) explanation of allied AFV designations. http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/Forum1/HTML/011379.html ------------------ "I'm the Quarterback. I make the plays. You back the plays I make." -Harvey Keitel to his adopted son in the movie "Dusk til Dawn" (about 3 hours before they're both ripped apart and eaten alive by vampires)
  2. Wait, is it too late to make him do my homework? ------------------ "I'm the Quarterback. I make the plays. You back the plays I make." -Harvey Keitel to his adopted son in the movie "Dusk til Dawn" (about 3 hours before they're both ripped apart and eaten alive by vampires)
  3. I just went to CombatMissions.co.uk to pick up a few scenarios ad accidentally went to Combatmissions.com. Has anyone seen this before? ------------------ "I'm the Quarterback. I make the plays. You back the plays I make." -Harvey Keitel to his adopted son in the movie "Dusk til Dawn" (about 3 hours before they're both ripped apart and eaten alive by vampires)
  4. I've basically given up on blind targeting unless the units are literally meters from LOS and moving steadily toward each other. I've found that my units give up the targetting order too soon to be of any real use otherwise. ------------------ "I'm the Quarterback. I make the plays. You back the plays I make." -Harvey Keitel to his adopted son in the movie "Dusk til Dawn" (about 3 hours before they're both ripped apart and eaten alive by vampires)
  5. I'll take one dougk@volny.cz ------------------ "I'm the Quarterback. I make the plays. You back the plays I make." -Harvey Keitel to his adopted son in the movie "Dusk til Dawn" (about 3 hours before they're both ripped apart and eaten alive by vampires)
  6. while we're on the subject, could someone please explain to me or point me to the thread (I looked under "Hull down wire" and didn't come up with anything) on how you get your wire hull down. Everytime I think my wire is hull down to the enemy engineers, they are still able to get up and take it out before my wire gets even a first scratch in. Or I've tried "hiding" the wire, but I think it gets jittery when it sees the hedgeclippers and gives it's position away. The result: Wire gone and engineers giddily clipping away. I don't hear even as much as an "Ow! My finger!" Maybe the German wire's modelled incorrectly. I've never had this problem with Allied wire. Can't we have a "move wire to hull down" command pleeez? (Or at least the "Ow! My finger!" wav file for when the engineers remove it.) ------------------ "I'm the Quarterback. I make the plays. You back the plays I make." -Harvey Keitel to his adopted son in the movie "Dusk til Dawn" (about 3 hours before they're both ripped apart and eaten alive by vampires)
  7. What were the parameters of your set-up? Everyone knows that pre-1945 barbed wire couldn't scratch the broadside of a barn. go back and re-run the test, silly boy. ------------------ "I'm the Quarterback. I make the plays. You back the plays I make." -Harvey Keitel to his adopted son in the movie "Dusk til Dawn" (about 3 hours before they're both ripped apart and eaten alive by vampires)
  8. Hey, don't I get a prize or somefink for guessing right first? ------------------ "I'm the Quarterback. I make the plays. You back the plays I make." -Harvey Keitel to his adopted son in the movie "Dusk til Dawn" (about 3 hours before they're both ripped apart and eaten alive by vampires)

  12. I did a tactics2 map a while back. I used an infantry battalion and two armored sections for each side. I also used jabos to simulate "death from above" nuclears. The final game is HUGE! I wouldn't attempt it without a G4 or some kind of supercomputer. I'll forward it to you if you like for comparison. P.S. I still haven't played it with anyone, so if anyone is interested (and has a supercomputer at home) I'm up for it. ------------------ "I'm the Quarterback. I make the plays.
